The definition
In short
Marketing reporting software pulls the results of every channel, paid, organic, email and AI search, into one report: spend, leads, customers and revenue per channel and campaign. The best marketing reporting tools take revenue from the CRM instead of each platform's own conversion count, refresh on their own and send the finished report on a schedule.
Paid, organic, email, referral and AI search side by side with the same columns, so the report compares channels instead of repeating each platform's dashboard. See cross-platform reporting.
Leads, qualified leads, customers and revenue come from the deal records in HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive, not from the conversions each ad platform claims for itself.
A figure the board can question has to open: the named leads and deals behind it, with the campaign that brought each one in. A bar chart without names is a picture, not a report.
Refresh from live data rather than from a monthly export, write the summary, and go out on a schedule to the people who need it, in the channel they already read.
Why the dashboard is not the report
Dashboard tools pull each platform's conversion count into a template. Faster than exporting CSVs, but the figures are still the platforms grading their own work, and none of them knows which lead became a customer.
The result is a report that looks finished and cannot survive one follow-up question. The team spends the meeting defending numbers instead of deciding on them.
Watch it
One real-time dashboard instead of the Excel, Meta and Google exports the report gets assembled from every month.

Integrations
The ad platforms and channels a touchpoint can come from, and the CRMs the outcome is read back from. Open any tile for what exactly moves between LeadJourney and that tool.
Spend, campaign structure and click IDs come in. Closed deals go back out as offline conversions.
The traffic your analytics still files under direct. No setup, the tracking script separates it.
Lead stage and deal value flow in. Every campaign sees the revenue it actually produced.
What the software does
Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Microsoft Ads next to organic search, email, referrals and AI search such as ChatGPT and Perplexity, with the same columns on every row: spend, leads, qualified leads, customers, revenue.
Customers and revenue are read from the deal records in HubSpot, Pipedrive, Close and Attio natively, and from Salesforce and 100+ others by webhook, so the report and the CRM cannot disagree.
Every number is a link. Cost per customer on a campaign opens the customers, the deal values and the dates they closed, straight from the CRM, in the meeting if that is when the question comes.
The standard reports cover most meetings. When the board wants revenue by region, by product line or by CRM owner, build the view once from any CRM field you have mapped, save it, and it refreshes with the rest.
Atlas, the AI analyst in every workspace, reads the same dataset, writes the week's summary and answers the follow-up in chat or in Slack. See Ask Atlas.
Pick the cadence and the channel. The weekly summary posts to Slack, the monthly report goes out by email or WhatsApp, and a live dashboard link lets the CEO open the current numbers any day without asking.
Why the source matters
When revenue in the report is the closed-won amount in the CRM, the meeting stops being about whether the numbers are right. The question moves to which channel deserves more budget, which is the question marketing wanted.
The reports
Cost per customer here is spend over CRM customers, not spend over platform conversions.
Ad campaign report
The channel table is the board's view; the campaign table is yours: every campaign with what it cost, how many customers it produced and what they paid. Open a row and it splits into ads and landing pages.
What changed in CAC this month and why?
You
Blended CAC, June against May
Computed from spend in your ad accounts and closed-won deals in HubSpot, June 1 to 30.
Ask Atlas
Atlas sits on the same dataset as the reports. Ask what changed in CAC this month and the answer names the channels that moved it, from live spend and CRM deals.
Every send is built from the live dataset at the moment it goes out, not from a snapshot.
Scheduled reports
Set the cadence once and the report goes out on its own: the weekly summary to Slack, the monthly report by email, the numbers by WhatsApp. Every delivery is built from the live dataset at send time.
Live in 21 minutes
No connector marketplace, no data warehouse, no template to maintain.
Add one script to your website on your own first-party subdomain. From then on every visit is recorded with its source, campaign and click ID, which is the row every report is built from.
Connect the ad accounts for spend and your CRM for the outcomes. HubSpot, Pipedrive, Close and Attio connect natively; Salesforce and 100+ others through a webhook, Zapier, Make or n8n.
Choose the reports and where they go: the weekly summary to Slack, the monthly report by email, a live dashboard link for the board. The first report is ready the same day.
How it compares
| What you need | LeadJourney | ||
|---|---|---|---|
| Where the numbers come from | No: Each platform's own conversion count | Partly: Whatever you connect and export | Yes: Tracked journeys joined to CRM deals |
| Customers and revenue per channel | Partly: A CRM connector, mapped by hand | Partly: A monthly CRM export, pasted in | Yes: Read from the CRM, per channel and campaign |
| Drill to the deals behind a figure | No: Aggregates only | No: Aggregates only | Yes: Every figure opens the named deals |
| Double counting across platforms | No: Inherits every platform's claim | No: Inherits every platform's claim | Yes: One journey per lead, counted once |
| The written summary and the follow-up | Partly: Widgets and annotations, you write the text | No: A new chart per question | Yes: Atlas writes it and answers in Slack |
| Setup and upkeep | Partly: A template per source, breaks when a connector changes | No: Weeks to build, breaks quietly | Yes: 21 minutes, refreshes itself |
What changes
The weekly and monthly reports go out on their own, so the 15+ hours a week that went into exports and pasting go back into the campaigns.
Revenue in the report is the closed-won amount in the CRM, so marketing and finance stop reconciling two versions of the quarter.
Spend against closed revenue per channel is an argument. Impressions and click-through rate are not.
Which deals are behind that number is one click, not a promise to get back to someone by Friday.
Channels without a budget get the same columns as the ad accounts, so the report shows the whole mix and not only the part that was paid for.
The board, the CMO and the channel owners read the same dataset at different depths, instead of three decks that disagree.
Original reviews
4.9 out of 5 across 11 public reviews. Quoted as they were left, shortened only by dropping whole sentences.
“Before LeadJourney, we had no reliable tracking concept for our five-figure ad spend. We were manually building spreadsheet and CRM reports, inaccurate and time-consuming. Within two days, everything was set up. For the first time, I know exactly what I pay per lead and which campaigns actually bring in the best-qualified prospects.”
Florian BuckCEO, Klickkraft GmbH“With LeadJourney we are able to track all our leads and connect them with sales and attribution data to make better decisions. In the first month of using it we scaled from 0 to 100k revenue from paid ads only.”
“LeadJourney finally fixed my Marketing Analytics. It goes way beyond basic Ad Tracking Software. The Customer Journey Report saves hours of digging, and capturing everything from Offline Conversions to AI Search Tracking makes it the Best B2B Attribution Platform available.”
“Connected LeadJourney for 2 clients, setup took literally 20 minutes each. The data became more accurate, the reports actually make sense. Now clients look at the dashboard and the 'why don't the numbers match?' questions are gone.”
Alexander SamarPerformance Marketing Agency“With LeadJourney, we have finally found a tool that provides us with the data we need to scale our performance marketing campaigns. The most important KPI is no longer lead price but cost per qualified lead.”
Steffen SiesingCEO, Bilanzmanufaktur GmbH“The ability to track both online and offline conversions in one unified dashboard has given us insights we never had before. Our ROI has improved dramatically since we started integrating LeadJourney with our CRM. We're finally able to see the full customer journey, and it's been a game changer for our strategy.”
Andre WitzelFounder, Trading.de“The ability to seamlessly integrate data from multiple channels and see real-time insights has significantly improved our campaign results. We now focus on metrics that truly matter, like ROI and qualified leads.”

Common questions
What in-house marketers want to know before they replace the dashboard tool and the spreadsheet.
A dashboard tool connects to each platform's API and shows the platform's own numbers in a template. Marketing reporting software in the sense this page uses it owns the data underneath: it tracks the journey from the click to the deal in the CRM, so the report can show customers and revenue per channel rather than conversions per platform. The ranked guide compares both kinds side by side.
An ad campaign report, a traffic channel report, a lead overview and a landing page report, all built from the same dataset, plus a custom report builder for the views your board asks for. Every figure in every report opens the leads and deals behind it, and the transparent logs show where each number came from.
From the deal records in your CRM. HubSpot, Pipedrive, Close and Attio connect natively with one-click OAuth; Salesforce and 100+ others connect through a webhook, Zapier, Make or n8n. LeadJourney matches each deal to the tracked journey that produced it, so revenue per channel is the closed-won amount, not a platform estimate.
Each lead is one tracked journey with every touch on it, so a customer who clicked a Meta ad and later a Google ad is one customer in the report. The attribution model decides how the credit is split: first click, last click, linear, position-based or multi-touch. See marketing attribution software for how the models differ.
Yes. Choose the report, the cadence and the channel, and it is sent to Slack, by email or by WhatsApp, built from the live data at the moment it goes out, with the Atlas summary at the top. A shareable live dashboard covers the people who want to look between sends.
Anything the dataset can answer: what changed in CAC this month and why, which campaigns produced the ten largest deals, what the summary for the Monday meeting should say. Atlas sits on the same spend, session and CRM data as the reports and answers in the LeadJourney chat or in Slack, where anyone on the team can tag it. The same data is available in Claude and ChatGPT through the MCP server.
The reporting engine is the same, and agencies use it with one workspace per client, white-label dashboards and client logins. That side of the product has its own page, agency reporting software, linked at the end of this one. This page is written for the in-house team reporting to a boss or a board.
Most teams are live in about 21 minutes: one script on the site, the ad accounts and the CRM connected, the first report scheduled. No data warehouse, no connector marketplace and no template to maintain. Tracking is first-party, hosted in the EU in Frankfurt with a signed data processing agreement, which matters when the report is going to a board.
