Cookie Policy

How LeadJourney uses cookies and similar technologies on this website.

Version 1.4 · Last updated 15 September 2026

What this policy covers

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies we use on leadjourney.io: what they do, who sets them, how long they last and how you can control them. It sits alongside our privacy policy and our GDPR and data protection page, which explain how we handle personal data more broadly.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. We also use related technologies such as localStorage, which keeps small values in your browser, and tracking pixels. For simplicity we refer to all of these as cookies in this policy.

The categories we use

Strictly necessary
Needed for the site to work: security, load balancing, and remembering your display and banner choices. Always on.
Functional
Remember your preferences and power features such as live chat.
Analytics
Help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
Marketing
Measure our advertising and let us reach the right audiences across Meta, Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft, X and Reddit.

The functional, analytics and marketing tools listed below load on every visit, whatever you chose in the cookie banner. We rely on our legitimate interest in measuring and improving our website and our advertising (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time and switch these tools off in your browser or with each provider, see your choices below.

Cookies and tools we use

Names and durations set by third parties are controlled by those providers and may change. Several marketing and analytics tags are delivered through Google Tag Manager, so they appear only where the corresponding tag is enabled in our current configuration.

Marketing

Google Tag Manager itself stores no tracking cookie: it loads the tags above, on every visit. Which tags fire depends on our current tag configuration.

Your choices

The cookie banner
The banner records your choice, and you can change it at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page, which reopens it. The tools listed above load regardless of that choice, so to stop them use your browser settings or opt out with each provider, both described below.
Browser settings
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers also offer a do-not-track signal and a private browsing mode. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
Opt out at the source
You can opt out of advertising cookies directly with the providers: Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Microsoft, X and Reddit, or through industry tools such as Your Online Choices.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy whenever the cookies or tools we use change. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
