Zoho CRM integration
Zoho CRM attribution, from the first anonymous click to closed won
LeadJourney records the visits before the form, writes the full journey onto your Leads, Accounts and Deals, and sends won revenue back to Meta, Google, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads.

How the data moves
- Touchpoints and spend flowing in
- Deals and revenue going back
Meta and LinkedIn see the click. Zoho sees the deal. Google sees half of each. LeadJourney sits in between and joins all of it, in both directions.
- Organic search
- Organic social
- AI search
AI Attribution Engine
LeadJourneyServer-side tracking, every channel in one journey- Server-side tracking of every visit
- Multi-touch attribution per lead
- Won revenue back to the ad account
- Leads
- Contacts
- Accounts
- Deals
The loop closes in the ad account. Every deal Zoho marks closed won goes back to the platform that created it, so bidding optimises on revenue instead of form fills.

Traffic channels
Connect your channels to Zoho CRM
One chain for all four platforms, captured before the form and joined to the lead, so the click IDs stop being one integration each.
Paid search
Connect Google Ads to Zoho CRM
gclid captured server-side on every page rather than at the form, so a visitor who read three articles first still carries the click that brought them.
View integrationSocial ads
Connect Meta Ads to Zoho CRM
Facebook and Instagram campaigns tracked past the pixel's limits, and won deals sent back through the Conversions API with the deal amount attached.
View integrationSocial ads
Connect LinkedIn Ads to Zoho CRM
The platform Zoho pulls leads from but never reports back to. Paid and organic LinkedIn touches land on the Lead, and won deals go back over the Conversions API.
View integrationPaid search
Connect Microsoft Ads to Zoho CRM
msclkid captured at the click and the conversion sent as the deal closes, so the offline conversion file nobody maintains stops being the plan.
View integration
Zoho CRM and LeadJourney
Zoho tracks the click. The chain starts at the form
The Google Ads integration is genuinely good and most orgs have it switched on. Everything it knows begins at a form submission, and that is where the six gaps below open up.
What Zoho CRM already does, and does well
- Captures gclid on your site and carries it onto the lead, which most CRMs at this price never attempt.
- Fills a Google Ads Information section with the ad network, keyword, search query, device type and cost metrics.
- Exports lead creation back to Google Ads as an offline conversion, so Smart Bidding sees CRM leads rather than form events.
- Sends lead, contact or deal data to Meta's Conversions API through LeadChain, with your own event and filters.
- Pulls Facebook and LinkedIn Lead Ads straight into the CRM, so paid lead forms never need a spreadsheet.
- Blueprint, workflow rules, multiple pipelines, custom modules and multi-currency, at a price nothing else in this list matches.
Zoho CRM on its own
Good at the click it sees, blind to the three visits before it
Zoho CRM with LeadJourney
One journey per lead, joined to spend and to the revenue Zoho closed
Every touchpoint
The whole journey into Zoho, and the won deal back to the ads
Marketing sees every touch before and after Zoho, sales sees the source on the record they open, and the won amount goes back to the platform.
See every journey in LeadJourney
The dashboard marketing runs on
- Every touchpoint of every lead in one timeline, from the first anonymous click to the deal Zoho marks closed won.
- First touch, last touch and every multi-touch attribution model in between, so a LinkedIn first click and a brand search close are one journey, not two leads.
- Filter any campaign, ad or landing page to the leads it produced and the stage each one reached.
- The same journey written onto the Lead, the Account and the Deal, so the source survives conversion and your team sees it before the first call.
Send it back to the ad platforms
Where the bidding learns from revenue
- A deal Zoho marks closed won becomes a conversion on Google, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft, matched on the click ID captured at the first visit.
- The deal amount travels with the event, so value based bidding optimises on revenue rather than on the lead creation event Zoho exports today.
- You choose which stages go back: a Lead Status, a Deal Stage, closed won, or all three.
- Sent server to server, so there is nothing for an ad blocker or a declined cookie banner to remove.
How it works
Zoho data in, attributed revenue back out
Both directions run on their own once connected: one makes cross-channel attribution possible, the other puts the answer on the record your team already works in.
1 Pull your pipeline into LeadJourney
Your Zoho data meets the marketing data it was always missing.
LeadJourney reads your Leads, Contacts, Accounts and Deals, with lead status, deal stage, amount, currency and closing date.
Ad clicks, spend, sessions, forms and click IDs are tracked server-side across paid, organic and AI search.
LeadJourney joins the two into one journey per lead, from the first anonymous click through to the deal Zoho closed.
Influenced pipeline, attributed revenue, ROAS and cost per closed won deal, per channel, campaign and ad.
2 Write the Zoho CRM attribution back onto every record
So nobody opens a second tool to answer where a deal came from.
LeadJourney writes the finished attribution back into Zoho, only into the fields you mapped.
First touch, last touch, campaign, ad and click ID land as fields on the Lead, the Account and the Deal.
Reports, views and workflow rules pick them up like any other field: route by source, or alert sales the moment a paid lead arrives.
Sales sees where the lead came from on the record they already open, and marketing sees the deal amount against the ad.
The return path
Closed won Zoho revenue, back in the ad account that earned it
A form fill is not a result. When Zoho marks a deal closed won, the amount goes back to the platform that produced the click.
Google AdsOffline conversion import
Conversions matched on gclid, with the deal amount rather than a lead event
MetaConversions API
Qualified lead, deal created and closed won, with amount and currency
LinkedIn AdsConversions API
Lead status and deal stage changes and won revenue matched on li_fat_id
Microsoft AdsOffline conversions
Conversions matched on msclkid, with the deal amount
TikTok AdsEvents API
Server-side lead and revenue events
The two platforms Zoho leaves out
LinkedIn takes leads from you and reports nothing back, and Microsoft Ads has no native Zoho path at all. Both are covered here by the same mechanism as Google and Meta.
The deal, not the lead
Zoho's own export sends lead creation, one event at one worth. This sends the closed deal with its own amount, which is what value based bidding actually optimises against.
Sent server to server
No pixel to fire, no form snippet to maintain, and nothing for an ad blocker or a declined cookie banner to remove.
Reporting
The questions your Zoho reports cannot answer yet
Each of these is a report, not a custom module project. Zoho stays the source of truth for the deal, LeadJourney for the source behind it.

“Before LeadJourney, we had no reliable tracking concept for our five-figure ad spend. We were manually building spreadsheet and CRM reports, inaccurate and time-consuming. Within two days, everything was set up. For the first time, I know exactly what I pay per lead and which campaigns actually bring in the best-qualified prospects.”
Florian BuckCEO, Klickkraft GmbH “With LeadJourney we are able to track all our leads and connect them with sales and attribution data to make better decisions. In the first month of using it we scaled from 0 to 100k revenue from paid ads only.”

FAQ
What Zoho admins ask before connecting
If yours is not here, our team answers in the chat within a few minutes.
How is this different from Zoho's own Google Ads integration?
Zoho's integration is good and you should keep it. It reads gclid when a visitor submits a web form on a page carrying its script, enriches the record with Google's keyword and cost data, and exports lead creation back to Google as a conversion. LeadJourney starts earlier and covers more: every session is recorded server-side on every page before any form exists, all four platforms' click IDs are captured through one mechanism, and what goes back is the closed deal with its own amount rather than a lead event. Most teams run both.
Will it overwrite Lead Source or other fields my team relies on?
No. Nothing is written to a field you have not mapped. Most teams leave the standard Lead Source picklist exactly as their workflow rules and historic reports expect it, and let LeadJourney write the observed channel, campaign and ad into its own fields beside it. If you would rather have Lead Source set from the tracked channel, that is a mapping you turn on, not a default.
Does the source survive lead conversion?
Yes, and that is the point. In Zoho, converting a lead creates a Contact, an Account and usually a Deal, and it is the step where most field values stop travelling unless somebody built a workflow to carry them. LeadJourney writes the attribution onto the Deal as well, so closed won revenue can be reported by first touch campaign without a workflow to maintain.
Which fields does LeadJourney write into Zoho?
On the Lead: first and last touch channel, source and campaign, the ad, ad set and creative, every UTM parameter, the click ID from each platform, the landing page and referrer, and a link to the full journey. On the Deal: the attributed channel and campaign, the credit each touchpoint earned under your active model, and the ad spend attributed to the deal. You choose which of those are in scope before anything is written.
Can I send closed won deals back to LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads?
Yes, and those are the two platforms a Zoho org is usually flying blind on. Zoho pulls LinkedIn Lead Ads in but has no path to report conversions back, and Microsoft Advertising has no native Zoho integration at all. LeadJourney sends closed won deals to LinkedIn through its Conversions API matched on li_fat_id, and to Microsoft Ads matched on msclkid, alongside Google and Meta, with the deal amount attached.
Do I need a developer or a Zoho partner?
No developer and no per form work. Connecting Zoho is an OAuth sign in, a data centre pick and a field mapping screen, and most accounts are live in about 21 minutes. An admin is useful for deciding which fields to expose, and our team will do the mapping with you on a call if you prefer.
Does it work with custom modules, several pipelines and multiple currencies?
Yes. The sync is mapped per module and per field, so it works with custom fields and custom modules, with every pipeline and its own stages, and with multi-currency orgs. You decide per pipeline which stages count as conversions.
A deal closes three months after the first click. Is it still attributed?
Yes. The journey in LeadJourney has no attribution window, so the deal is credited to the campaign and ad that started it however long the sales cycle takes. The ad platforms apply their own windows to the events they receive, so a late deal mainly improves their optimisation; the report that matches revenue to the ad lives in LeadJourney and on the Zoho record.
Is the Zoho sync GDPR compliant?
Yes. Data is processed and stored in the EU, we sign a data processing agreement, and tracking runs first-party and server-side so it respects consent decisions rather than working around them. Financial, legal and other regulated industries are a core part of our customer base.
What does it cost?
The Zoho CRM integration is part of the platform rather than a paid add on. Plans are priced on tracked events instead of seats, so your whole team and your agency can share one workspace, and every plan starts with a 14 day free trial without a credit card.
