For sales teams

Know the lead before the first call, not from asking on it.

The channel, the campaign, the pages they read and the webinar they attended are on the CRM record the moment the lead arrives.

The opener writes itself: she asked about audits in the webinar and read the security page twice.

Why the first call starts cold

The lead lands with a name, an email and a source field that says "Website".

Everything the person did before they filled in the form exists. It is just in four systems none of which are open on your screen when the phone rings, so the call starts from nothing.

  • You have to ask how they found you, which spends the first twenty seconds of the call on a question the company should already know the answer to.
  • The answer is usually wrong. People say Google when they saw a LinkedIn post, and they forget the webinar entirely. Self-reported attribution is a guess, not a source.
  • You cannot tell the two leads apart. One read the pricing page twice and attended a webinar, the other downloaded a guide and left. Both arrive as "new lead" at the same minute.
  • Nothing tells you what they care about. The page they read three times is the objection they are going to raise, and it is nowhere on the record.
  • A returning buyer looks brand new, so the second conversation opens as if the first one never happened.
  • Marketing says the leads are good, you say they are not, and neither side has the evidence, because the two reports count different things.
  • The leads you disqualify keep coming. Nothing you record in the CRM ever reaches the campaign that produced them.

So the first call is a discovery call about your own marketing. The person on the other end already told you everything, in what they did.

What LeadJourney does instead

The whole journey on the record, in the CRM you already work in.

LeadJourney records every visit first-party and joins it to the person the moment they fill in a form, book a call or ring the tracked number. The channel, the campaign and the pages they read are written onto the contact before the lead reaches your list. Same CRM, same pipeline, same stages.

Integrations

The channels your leads come from, and the CRM you live in.

Every source a lead can arrive from, and the systems the record is kept in. Forms, calls, bookings and webinars come in the same way. Open any tile for what exactly moves between LeadJourney and that tool.

Spend, campaign structure and click IDs come in. Closed deals go back out as offline conversions.

What you get

Everything you want to know before you dial, on the record.

The source, written onto the contact

Channel, campaign, ad and keyword on the record when the lead is created, in HubSpot, Pipedrive, Close and Attio natively, Salesforce and 100+ others by webhook. No new tool to open, no tab to check. See CRM integration.

The pages they read, in order

The guide, the case study, the pricing page they opened twice and the security page they read last, on one timeline with the ads and the webinars. It is the fastest read on what the call is actually about.

Calls and bookings arrive with their source too

An inbound call on a tracked number and a meeting booked in Calendly or Cal.com are joined to the same journey, so the record is complete whether the person filled a form, phoned or booked. See booked call tracking.

A lead list you can sort by what people did

Touch count, last seen, pages viewed and channel are fields, so today's list can be ordered by activity instead of by the minute the form was submitted. It is your judgement, on better facts: nothing here scores or ranks a lead for you.

Ask for the context in Slack

Atlas answers questions about a lead or an account in plain language, in Slack or in the app, and new leads can be posted into a channel with their source attached. See Atlas and the Slack integration.

Your disqualifications improve next month's leads

The stages you already set, qualified, booked, won and disqualified, go back to Meta, Google, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads as conversions, so the bidding learns from the leads you accepted instead of the cheapest form fills. You do nothing extra.

Why asking does not work

Nobody remembers the ad. They remember the last thing they typed.

"How did you hear about us?" is answered with whatever comes to mind, almost always the brand search at the end of a journey that started weeks earlier. That is not dishonesty, it is how memory works. The journey is the version both sales and marketing can check.

What it looks like

Three screens a rep actually uses.

Today's leads

The call list, ordered by what people did rather than when they filled the form.

Same leads, same morning, different order. The person who attended the webinar and came back to the pricing page twice is not the same prospect as the one who downloaded a guide and left, and the list can finally say so. You decide the order; the columns just stop hiding the difference.

  • Touch count, last page and channel as sortable columns
  • Webinars, calls and bookings in the same list as forms
  • Open any lead for the full timeline
  • No score, no ranking model, no black box

Said against actual

What the lead tells you, next to what actually happened.

The answers people give are not lies, they are the last thing they remember, and they send the credit to brand search while the campaign that started the conversation gets nothing. Now both are on the record.

  • The self-reported answer kept as its own field
  • The recorded first touch beside it
  • Every touch in between, so the gap is explainable

Ask Atlas

Ask who is worth calling first, in the words you would use.

Atlas is the AI analyst on your journeys and CRM, and for a sales team it is a faster way to ask about a list. Ask in Slack before the block of calls and the answer comes back with the leads named.

  • Answers from your own journeys and CRM records
  • In Slack, in the app, and through the MCP server in the assistant you already use
  • Every answer lists the leads, so you can open one and read the timeline
  • Follow-up questions keep the context

What changes

The questions you stop asking on the call

Every one of these is on the record or one question away in Slack, before you dial.

  • Where did this lead actually come from, and what did they see first?

  • Which pages did they read, and which one did they come back to?

  • Have they been here before, or is this the first time?

  • Did they attend a webinar, and what did they ask in it?

  • Which of this morning's leads has done the most, and which just downloaded a guide?

  • Is this account already in the pipeline under a different contact?

  • Are the leads I disqualified last month still coming from the same campaign?

Context on every lead in three steps

Your CRM, your pipeline, your stages. Nothing about how the team sells has to change.

  1. 1About 5 minutes

    Install

One script on the website, on your own tracking subdomain. From that moment every visit is recorded first-party, and the moment somebody fills a form, books a meeting or calls a tracked number, the visits become that person's history.

  2. 2About 10 minutes

    Connect the CRM

One click for HubSpot, Pipedrive, Close or Attio, a webhook for Salesforce and anything custom. The source fields appear on the contact and the deal, and the stages your team already sets flow back the other way.

  3. 3Same day

Point the alerts where you work

Choose which fields the record carries, whether new leads are posted into a Slack channel with their source, and which stages go back to the ad platforms. Then the next lead arrives with its history attached.

What changes

What changes once the lead arrives with its history.

Done:

The opener stops being a question

You already know they attended the webinar and read the security page twice, so the call starts on what they care about instead of on where they found you.

Down:

Time spent on leads that were never close

A single guide download and a seven-touch journey that ends on pricing look identical in a form list, and completely different once the touches are on the record.

Done:

Objections arrive expected

The page somebody read three times is usually the objection they open with. Reading the timeline for twenty seconds is the cheapest call preparation there is.

Up:

Lead quality, next month

The stages you set go back to the ad platforms, so the campaigns learn from the leads you accepted and stop optimising for the ones you disqualify.

Done:

One version of where leads come from

Marketing's report and your record read from the same journeys, so the meeting about lead quality has evidence in it rather than two opinions.

Lasting:

Nothing new to work in

It lands in the CRM you already have open, with an optional Slack alert. No second tool, no extra step in the pipeline, no data entry.

Before LeadJourney, we had no reliable tracking concept for our five-figure ad spend. We were manually building spreadsheet and CRM reports, inaccurate and time-consuming. Within two days, everything was set up. For the first time, I know exactly what I pay per lead and which campaigns actually bring in the best-qualified prospects.

Common questions

What sales teams ask

The questions that come up when the team hears the word attribution.

Do we have to work in another tool?

No. The source, the campaign, the touch count and the page history are written onto the contact and the deal in your CRM, which is where the team already is. LeadJourney itself is there when someone wants the full timeline or a report, and new leads can be posted into a Slack channel with their source attached, but the day to day does not move.

How is this different from asking the lead where they heard about us?

The answer people give is the last thing they remember, usually the brand search or the email at the end of the journey. It is not dishonest, it is just not the source. LeadJourney keeps the self-reported answer as its own field and puts the recorded first touch next to it, so you get both. See self-reported attribution.

Does it tell us which lead to call first?

It gives you the facts to decide: how many touches, which pages, how recently, which channel, whether they have been here before. There is no score and no ranking model, because a number that hides its reasons is not something a rep should trust. Sort by what matters to your team and open the timeline for the ones you are unsure about.

Can we really see which pages a lead read? Is that allowed?

It is your own website, the tracking is first-party and consent-aware, and the person became identifiable by filling in your form, booking a meeting or calling you. Nothing is bought in from a data broker and nothing is tracked across other people's sites. LeadJourney is hosted in the EU with a signed data processing agreement on every plan. See GDPR.

What about leads from a referral, an event or a channel with no click ID?

They arrive with whatever is knowable: the referring site, the campaign parameters, the event list they came in on, or nothing at all if there is genuinely nothing to record. The report shows those as unattributed rather than guessing a channel, which is what keeps the rest of the record trustworthy.

Does the team have to do anything for the feedback loop to work?

Only what they already do: move the record through the stages and, if that is your habit, record a disqualification reason. Those stage changes are what goes back to the ad platforms. No extra field, no separate tool, no weekly export.

We are a small team without an ops person. Can we set this up?

Yes. It is one script on the website, a one-click CRM connection and a screen where you choose the fields and the stages, and most accounts are live in about 21 minutes. Our team will do it with you on a call if you would rather watch it happen once.
