Slack is where the numbers land, not where they are calculated. Reports are written by Atlas from live attribution data on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule, so the channel reads the same figures as the dashboard.

The gap

The numbers exist. They reach the channel as screenshots and single events.

Each tool with a Slack app posts its own slice: the deal from the CRM, the booking from the scheduler. Nothing in the channel says which campaign any of it came from.

Reporting into Slack today

Every tool posts its own event, nobody posts the journey

  • The CRM's Slack app posts its own events: a new deal, a stage change, a task due. The post says what happened, not which ad or search started it.
  • The ad platforms mostly notify by email, so a budget alert or a cost spike reaches one inbox and stays there.
  • The weekly report is a person: someone exports from Ads Manager, Google Ads and the CRM, stitches the numbers in a spreadsheet and pastes a screenshot into the channel.
  • Each tool reports its own count, so the channel sees three lead numbers for the same week and a thread about which one is right.
  • A won deal is celebrated with its amount. The campaign, the keyword or the organic post that led to it is never in the message.
  • Alerts live per tool, on thresholds someone set once inside that tool, so a cost per lead creeping up across three platforms trips no alarm in any of them.
  • A question asked in the channel means someone opening a dashboard, building the view and coming back an hour later.

Slack with LeadJourney

One channel, the whole journey, on schedule

  • Atlas writes the daily, weekly or monthly report from live attribution data and posts it to the channel you chose, on the schedule you set.
  • Every lead alert carries its first and last click source, the campaign and the landing page, so the channel reads the attribution without opening a dashboard.
  • A won deal posts with its value and its full journey, from the first touch to the closing click, the moment the CRM marks it won.
  • One number per metric, because every post is written from the same server-side, first-party dataset the dashboard reads, at 95%+ accuracy.
  • Paid, organic, social and AI search sit in the same report, so the channel compares channels instead of collecting tool exports.
  • Alerts watch the joined numbers: cost per lead across every platform, spend that doubles in a day, lead quality that drops.
  • Ask Atlas in the channel and the answer comes back in the thread, with the report behind it.

How it works

Marketing reports and lead alerts in Slack, written from the same data as the dashboard

Two things happen once Slack is connected: what lands in the channel, and what the team does with it there instead of in a tab.

  1. 1

    What gets posted, and when

Scheduled reports from Atlas, alerts the moment something happens.

    MetaGoogle AdsHubSpotSalesforce

Spend, campaigns and every click come in from the ad platforms; leads, stages and won revenue come in from your CRM.

LeadJourney joins them into one journey per lead, server-side and first-party, and Atlas writes from that dataset rather than from a tool export.

An agent posts the daily, weekly or monthly report on the schedule you set, in plain language, with the report link behind it.

    Slack

Lead alerts and won-deal alerts post as they happen, each with its first and last click source, to the channel you chose.

  2. 2

How a team acts on it

The number arrives where the decision is made, so the decision gets made.

    Slack

The weekly report lands in #marketing on Monday morning, before the meeting rather than as a deliverable after it.

Someone asks the follow-up in the thread and Atlas answers from the same data, with the report behind it.

A won deal in the wins channel shows the campaign that started it, so sales and marketing celebrate the same source.

Budget moves the same day: the alert that cost per qualified lead doubled on one platform is read by the person who can pause it.

Where the alerts come from

Every post starts in a tool you already run

The event behind the message comes from your website, your CRM or your ad accounts, and LeadJourney adds the journey before it posts, so the channel reads the source.

  • Your websiteSource of the alert

A form submitted on your site posts as a lead alert with its first and last click source, before the CRM has finished creating the record.

  • HubSpotSource of the alert

A deal HubSpot marks won posts to the channel with its value and its full journey, first touch to closing click.

  • SalesforceSource of the alert

An opportunity moved to Closed Won posts with the amount and the campaign that started it.

  • MetaSource of the alert

Cost per lead over the threshold you set, or spend that jumps in a day, with the campaign named and the other platforms alongside for comparison.

  • Google AdsSource of the alert

A campaign whose cost per qualified lead moves, and the spend and revenue line in the weekly report.

The journey travels with the message

Every alert names the first and last click source, the campaign and the landing page, so the channel sees the attribution and not just the event.

You choose what posts where

Lead alerts to one channel, won deals to another, the weekly report to a third. Each report and each alert has its own channel and its own schedule.

Same numbers as the dashboard

Every post is written from the live attribution dataset, so what Slack says on Monday is what the report says when someone opens it.

Reporting

The questions that used to wait for the Monday meeting

Every one of these is a report in LeadJourney, and every one can be scheduled into a Slack channel by an Atlas agent, so the answer is in the channel before anyone asks.

  • Which campaigns produced the revenue we closed last week, not just the leads?

  • What did a closed deal cost us in ad spend, across Meta, Google and LinkedIn together?

  • Which channel started the biggest deal that closed this month?

  • How many leads came from ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini last month, and what were they worth?

  • Which landing pages turned last week's traffic into qualified leads?

  • Where did cost per qualified lead rise this week, and on which platform?

LeadJourney and the native Slack apps

Where each tool's own Slack app ends and LeadJourney starts

Each tool's own Slack app posts the moment something happens in that tool. Each one posts its own slice.

Native Slack apps of each tool compared with LeadJourney, capability by capability
Marketing reports and lead alertsNative Slack apps of each toolEvent notices per tool: a new deal from the CRM, a booking from the scheduler, each in its own format and its own channel. With LeadJourneyOne lead alert per lead with its first and last click source, and one report per schedule across every channel.
Where the lead came fromNative Slack apps of each toolWhatever the tool recorded as the source, which is often the form name, Zapier, or nothing. With LeadJourneyThe attributed source, campaign, click ID and landing page, captured server-side before the form was filled.
Scheduled reportsNative Slack apps of each toolSome tools post a digest of their own numbers. Nobody posts the number across tools. With LeadJourneyDaily, weekly or monthly reports written by Atlas from the joined dataset, on your schedule, per channel.
Ad spend and ROASNative Slack apps of each toolThe ad platforms alert by email. Spend never meets the CRM inside a channel. With LeadJourneySpend is pulled from every ad account and joined to won revenue, so the post says what a closed deal cost.
Won deal alertsNative Slack apps of each toolThe deal and its amount, from the CRM's own app. With LeadJourneyThe deal, its amount and its full journey, so sales and marketing see the same source.
Alerts and thresholdsNative Slack apps of each toolPer tool, on that tool's metrics, set inside that tool. With LeadJourneyOn the joined numbers: cost per qualified lead across platforms, spend that jumps, lead quality that drops.
Questions in the channelNative Slack apps of each toolSomeone opens the dashboard and comes back with a screenshot. With LeadJourneyMention Atlas and the answer comes back in the thread, with the report behind it.
SetupNative Slack apps of each toolOne app per tool, each with its own channel settings, maintained by whoever installed it.With LeadJourneyOne connection, live in about 21 minutes, with every report and alert routed from one screen.
Data and consentNative Slack apps of each toolEach app carries its own tool's data policy and whatever tracking sits in front of it.With LeadJourneyServer-side, first-party tracking processed in the EU at 95%+ accuracy, with a DPA. Only the posts you configure leave the workspace.

Keep the apps you have. Add the post that joins them.

The CRM's app still announces the deal and the scheduler's app still announces the booking. LeadJourney adds the message that says where each of them came from, and the report that says what it all cost and returned, on a schedule.

Before LeadJourney, we had no reliable tracking concept for our five-figure ad spend. We were manually building spreadsheet and CRM reports, inaccurate and time-consuming. Within two days, everything was set up. For the first time, I know exactly what I pay per lead and which campaigns actually bring in the best-qualified prospects.

FAQ

What teams ask before connecting Slack

If yours is not here, our team answers in the chat within a few minutes.

Which marketing reports and lead alerts can LeadJourney post into Slack?

Three kinds of message. Scheduled reports, written by Atlas on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule from any report in LeadJourney: traffic channels, campaigns, leads, landing pages. Lead alerts, one per new lead, with the first and last click source, the campaign and the landing page. And won-deal alerts, posted the moment your CRM marks a deal won, with its value and its full journey. Each has its own channel.

Is the number in the Slack post the same as in the dashboard?

Yes. Every post is written from the live attribution dataset the dashboard reads, server-side and first-party, so the number in the channel is the number in the report. Each scheduled report links to the report behind it, so anyone in the channel can open the full view in one click.

Can I ask Atlas questions in Slack?

Yes. Mention Atlas in a channel it has been added to and the answer comes back in the thread, from your own tracking and CRM data rather than the internet, with the report behind it. The same questions work in the dashboard and, over the MCP server, in Claude or ChatGPT.

Can different reports go to different channels?

Yes. Every scheduled report and every alert type has its own channel, so lead alerts can go to the sales channel, won deals to the wins channel and the weekly report to marketing. An agency can route a client's report into the channel it shares with that client.

What can an alert watch?

Anything Atlas can read: cost per lead over a threshold across the last seven days, spend that doubles in a day, click-through rate that drops, lead quality that falls on one platform. Alerts are described in plain language when you set them up, and they fire when the threshold is crossed rather than waiting for the next report.

Do the alerts say where the lead came from?

Yes, that is the point. Every lead alert carries the first and last click source, the campaign, the ad or keyword where the platform provides it, and the landing page, all captured server-side before the form was filled. A won-deal alert adds the deal value and every touchpoint in between.

Does it replace the HubSpot or Salesforce Slack app?

No, and it does not need to. Those apps post the tool's own events, and teams keep them for task and deal notices. LeadJourney posts what those apps cannot: the source behind the event, and the report across every tool. Run both in the same channel or give LeadJourney its own.

A deal closes months after the first click. Does the won-deal alert still name the campaign?

Yes. The journey has no attribution window, so a deal that closes six months after the first visit still posts with the campaign that started it and every touchpoint since. The alert reads the same journey the dashboard shows, however long the sales cycle took.

Do I need a developer?

No. Adding LeadJourney to Slack is a sign in, choosing channels is a settings screen, and an agent is set up by describing the report and the schedule in plain language. Most accounts are live in about 21 minutes, and our team will do the setup with you on a call if you prefer.

Is posting lead data into Slack GDPR compliant?

The tracking behind every post is server-side and first-party, processed and stored in the EU, and we sign a data processing agreement. You decide which reports and alerts post and to which channel, so nothing reaches Slack that you have not configured, and the Slack workspace itself stays under your own admin controls.

What does it cost?

The Slack integration is part of the platform rather than a paid add on. Plans are priced on tracked events instead of seats, so your whole team and your agency can share one workspace, and every plan starts with a 14 day free trial without a credit card.
