How the data moves
- Touchpoints and spend flowing in
- Opportunities and revenue going back
Meta and Google see the click. Dynamics sees the opportunity. Neither one sees the other. LeadJourney sits in between and joins the two, in both directions.
- Organic search
- Organic social
- AI search
AI Attribution Engine
LeadJourneyServer-side tracking, every channel in one journey- Server-side tracking of every visit
- Multi-touch attribution per lead
- Won revenue back to the ad account
- Leads
- Contacts
- Accounts
- Opportunities
The loop closes in the ad account. Every opportunity Dynamics closes as won goes back to the platform that created it, so bidding optimises on revenue instead of form fills.

Traffic channels
Connect your channels to Dynamics 365
Every ad platform's spend, campaigns and click IDs land in the same journey Dynamics records, so pipeline and revenue sit in one place.
Paid search
Connect Microsoft Ads to Dynamics 365
Every msclkid is captured server-side and carried onto the Lead, so the offline conversion upload Microsoft Advertising asks for stops being a spreadsheet somebody maintains.
View integrationPaid search
Connect Google Ads to Dynamics 365
Every gclid is captured server-side and followed from the first ad click to the opportunity closed as won, with spend pulled in for live ROAS.
View integrationSocial ads
Connect Meta Ads to Dynamics 365
Facebook and Instagram campaigns are tracked past the pixel's limits, and won opportunities go back through the Conversions API with the actual revenue attached.
View integrationSocial ads
Connect LinkedIn Ads to Dynamics 365
Paid and organic LinkedIn touches land on the Lead and the Account, so B2B campaigns are judged on the opportunities they start rather than on form fills.

Dynamics 365 and LeadJourney
Dynamics records the revenue. Nothing fills in where it came from
The pipeline, the campaign container and the money columns are all there. Every one of them is filled in by a person, and that is where the six gaps below open up.
What Dynamics 365 already does, and does well
- One model in Dataverse: Leads, Contacts, Accounts and Opportunities, with business process flows walking a seller from Qualify to Close.
- A campaign record that carries Budget Allocated, Total Cost of Campaign, Expected Revenue and Expected Response Percentage.
- Campaign activities distributed to marketing lists, and campaign responses that convert straight into a lead, an opportunity, a quote or an order.
- Every column reportable: views, charts, dashboards, Power BI and, since the Fabric link, the whole interaction schema in a lakehouse.
- Customer Insights - Journeys for real-time journeys, forms, lead scoring and its own marketing analytics, on its own licence.
- Business units, multiple currencies and a security model an enterprise can actually pass an audit with.
Dynamics 365 on its own
Precise about the revenue, silent about the marketing that produced it
Dynamics 365 with LeadJourney
One journey per record, joined to spend and to the revenue Dynamics closed
Every touchpoint
The whole journey into Dynamics, and the won opportunity back to the ads
Marketing sees every touch before and after Dynamics, sales sees the source on the record it opens, and the won amount goes back to the platform.
See every journey in LeadJourney
The dashboard marketing runs on
- Every touchpoint of every lead in one timeline, from the first anonymous click to the opportunity Dynamics closes as won.
- First touch, last touch and every multi-touch attribution model in between, so a LinkedIn first click and a brand search close are one journey, not two leads.
- Filter any campaign, ad or landing page to the leads it produced and the stage each one reached.
- The same journey written onto the Lead, the Account and the Opportunity, so your sellers see where a record came from before the first call.
Send it back to the ad platforms
Where the bidding learns from revenue
- An opportunity Dynamics closes as won becomes a conversion on Microsoft, Google, Meta and LinkedIn, matched on the click ID captured at the first visit.
- The actual revenue travels with the event, so value based bidding optimises on pipeline rather than on form fills.
- You choose which stages go back: qualified lead, opportunity created, closed as won, or all three.
- Sent server to server, so there is nothing for an ad blocker or a declined cookie banner to remove.
How it works
Dynamics data in, attributed revenue back out
Both directions run on their own once connected: one makes cross-channel attribution possible, the other puts the answer on the record your sellers already work in.
1 Pull your pipeline out of Dataverse
Your Dynamics data meets the marketing data it was always missing.
LeadJourney reads your Leads, Contacts, Accounts and Opportunities from Dataverse, with stage, estimated and actual revenue and the close date.
Ad clicks, spend, sessions, forms and click IDs are tracked server-side across paid, organic and AI search.
LeadJourney joins the two into one journey per record, from the first anonymous click through to the opportunity Dynamics closed.
Influenced pipeline, attributed revenue, ROAS and cost per won opportunity, per channel, campaign and ad.
2 Write the Microsoft Dynamics attribution back onto every record
So nobody opens a second tool to answer where an opportunity came from.
LeadJourney writes the finished attribution back into Dataverse, only into the columns you mapped.
First touch, last touch, campaign, ad and click ID land as columns on the Lead, the Account and the Opportunity.
Views, charts, dashboards and Power BI pick them up like any other column, and a workflow can route by source the moment a paid lead arrives.
Sales sees where the lead came from on the form they already work in, and marketing sees the won amount against the ad.
The return path
Won Dynamics revenue, back in the ad account that earned it
A form fill is not a result. When Dynamics closes an opportunity as won, the amount goes back to the platform that produced the click.
Microsoft AdsOffline conversions
Conversions matched on msclkid, with the actual revenue, inside the platform's own window
Google AdsOffline conversion import
Conversions matched on gclid, with the amount for value based bidding
MetaConversions API
Qualified lead, opportunity created and closed as won, with amount and currency
LinkedIn AdsConversions API
Stage changes and won revenue matched on li_fat_id
TikTok AdsEvents API
Server-side lead and revenue events
You choose what counts as a conversion
Map any lead status, business process flow stage or opportunity outcome to any platform event. Qualified, proposal sent, closed as won, or all three.
Value based bidding gets the real amount
The actual revenue on the closed opportunity travels with the event, so tROAS strategies optimise on pipeline instead of a fixed value per stage.
No spreadsheet, and no 90 day scramble
The click ID is captured at the click and the conversion is sent as the stage changes, so nothing depends on somebody exporting a file in time.

“Before LeadJourney, we had no reliable tracking concept for our five-figure ad spend. We were manually building spreadsheet and CRM reports, inaccurate and time-consuming. Within two days, everything was set up. For the first time, I know exactly what I pay per lead and which campaigns actually bring in the best-qualified prospects.”
Florian BuckCEO, Klickkraft GmbH “With LeadJourney we are able to track all our leads and connect them with sales and attribution data to make better decisions. In the first month of using it we scaled from 0 to 100k revenue from paid ads only.”

FAQ
What Dynamics admins ask before connecting
If yours is not here, our team answers in the chat within a few minutes.
How is this different from Microsoft Dynamics attribution today?
Dynamics has the places to record attribution and nothing that fills them in. Lead Source is a choice column somebody types, a campaign response is created by hand or converted from an activity, and Dynamics 365 Sales records no web session at all. LeadJourney produces the touchpoints in the first place: it tracks every visit server-side, joins them to spend from every ad account, and writes the finished journey onto your Leads, Accounts and Opportunities as columns. Your views, charts and Power BI reports then work on observed data instead of typed data.
Do I need Dynamics 365 Customer Insights for this?
No. LeadJourney connects to Dynamics 365 Sales through Dataverse and brings its own tracking, so the attribution does not depend on a marketing licence. If you do run Customer Insights - Journeys, the two sit beside each other: Journeys keeps owning the journeys, the forms and the lead scoring, and LeadJourney answers which ad, campaign and channel produced the record in the first place.
Which columns does LeadJourney write into Dataverse?
On the Lead: first and last touch channel, source and campaign, the ad, ad set and creative, every UTM parameter, the click ID from each platform, the landing page and referrer, and a link to the full journey. On the Opportunity: the attributed channel and campaign, the credit each touchpoint earned under your active model, and the ad spend attributed to it. They arrive in a solution with the lj_ prefix, so you can see every one of them in one place, and you choose which are in scope before anything is written.
Will it overwrite Lead Source or other columns my team relies on?
No. Nothing is written to a column you have not mapped. Most teams leave leadsourcecode exactly as their routing rules and historic reports expect it and let LeadJourney write the observed channel, campaign and ad to its own columns beside it. If you would rather have Lead Source set from the tracked channel, that is a mapping you turn on, not a default.
How does LeadJourney read opportunity stages out of Dynamics?
By webhook on Dataverse. When a lead status, a business process flow stage, an opportunity stage or the revenue changes, Dynamics notifies LeadJourney and the journey updates, so an opportunity closed as won reaches your ad platforms as it happens rather than in a nightly batch. Transparent Logs show every record that moved and when.
Can I send won opportunities back to Microsoft Ads, Google and Meta?
Yes, and it is the point of the integration. Won opportunities go to Microsoft Advertising as offline conversions matched on msclkid, to Google Ads as an offline conversion import matched on gclid, to Meta through the Conversions API and to LinkedIn through its Conversions API, with the actual revenue attached. The click ID is captured server-side at the click, so nothing depends on a hidden form field surviving a redirect or on somebody uploading a file before the platform's window closes.
Does it work with our business units, custom tables and currencies?
Yes. The sync is mapped per table and per column, so it works with your own business process flows and their stages, with custom columns and tables, with several business units and with multiple currencies. You decide per process which stages count as conversions.
An opportunity closes six months after the first click. Is it still attributed?
Yes. The journey in LeadJourney has no attribution window, so the opportunity is credited to the campaign and ad that started it however long the sales cycle takes. The ad platforms apply their own windows to the events they receive, so a late close mainly improves their optimisation; the report that matches revenue to the ad lives in LeadJourney and on the Dynamics record.
Do I need a developer or a Dynamics partner?
No developer and no implementation project. Connecting Dynamics is a Microsoft sign in, an environment picker and a column mapping screen, and most accounts are live in about 21 minutes. A system administrator is useful for deciding which tables to expose, and our team will do the mapping with you on a call if you prefer.
Is the Dynamics sync GDPR compliant?
Yes. Data is processed and stored in the EU, we sign a data processing agreement, and tracking runs first-party and server-side so it respects consent decisions rather than working around them. Financial, legal and other regulated industries are a core part of our customer base.
What does it cost?
The Dynamics 365 integration is part of the platform rather than a paid add on. Plans are priced on tracked events instead of seats, so your whole team and your agency can share one workspace, and every plan starts with a 14 day free trial without a credit card.
