Scope

Reads everything, changes what you ask it to

The server gives your assistant every number LeadJourney holds and the right to change the workspace itself. Where it stops is the edge of LeadJourney.

What it can read

Journeys and touchpoints
Every visit, click and form fill in a lead's history, from the first touch to the closed deal.
Campaign spend
Cost by platform, campaign and ad set, the same numbers your LeadJourney reports run on.
CRM outcomes
Lead stages, qualified counts, booked demos and won revenue from your connected CRM.
Channels and pages
Where traffic arrives, which landing pages it hits, and what each one converts into.

What it can change

Reports and dashboards
Build a report, add a column, save it to a dashboard. The Report Builder, driven by a sentence instead of a mouse.
Attribution settings
Switch a report between first click, last click and data driven, or move its lookback window.
Workspace settings
The settings you would open the dashboard for anyway, changed from the conversation you are already in.
Only what you asked for
It acts when you send a message and never in between. Nothing runs on a schedule behind the connection.

What it can never do

No changes outside LeadJourney
It cannot pause a campaign, move budget or edit a CRM record. LeadJourney reads those tools, so the assistant cannot write to them either.
No other workspaces
The connection is scoped to your own workspace and sees nothing beyond it.
No training handoff
LeadJourney returns the answer into your conversation and nothing more. What your assistant vendor does with it follows your agreement with them.
No logins to hand over
Your assistant connects with one workspace URL, not your ad account or CRM logins.

Hosting, data processing and the rest of the controls are on the security page.

Setup

Connected before the coffee is cold

The server is built once against the open protocol, so connecting a client is the same three steps whichever assistant you use.

  1. 11 minute

    Copy your server URL

Open Ask Atlas, then Settings, then the MCP tab, and copy the server URL. Every client connects to the same endpoint, and the workspace it reaches is decided when you sign in.

  2. 22 minutes

    Add it to your assistant

Paste it where your assistant keeps its connections: Connectors in Claude, connected apps in ChatGPT. Approve it once.

  3. 3Instant

    Ask your first question

Ask which campaigns produced closed revenue last month. The answer comes from your workspace, not from the internet.

FAQ

MCP questions, answered

The short version: an open standard, a connection that reads your data and changes your workspace, and any assistant that speaks the protocol.

What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol, an open standard that lets an AI assistant call an external tool in the middle of a conversation. A tool builds one MCP server and every assistant that speaks the protocol can use it. LeadJourney's server lets your assistant read your journeys, campaign spend and closed revenue, and change your workspace when you ask it to.

Which assistants can I connect?

Any MCP client. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and Perplexity speak the protocol today, and a new client works the day it adopts it. That includes your own agents: anything built on the protocol reads the same data the assistants do.

Can it change anything in my account?

Inside LeadJourney, yes, and that is the point: it can build a report, save it to a dashboard or change a setting while you talk. Outside LeadJourney, no. It cannot pause a campaign, move budget or edit a record in your CRM, because LeadJourney reads those tools rather than writing to them.

Is my data used to train the AI?

LeadJourney sends the answer to your question into your own conversation and nothing more. How the assistant vendor treats that conversation is governed by your agreement with them, exactly like any number you would paste into the chat by hand.

How is this different from Atlas, the AI analyst?

Atlas is the analyst inside LeadJourney, built into the dashboard and Slack. The MCP server is the same data going the other direction, into whatever assistant you already have open. Most teams use both: Atlas for the deep work in the app, MCP for the question that comes up mid-conversation somewhere else.

Which plans include the MCP connection?

MCP connection is its own row in the plan comparison on the pricing page, so you can see exactly where it starts. Once a plan includes it, it is on for the whole workspace.
