Use case

Your business runs on booked calls. Make the booking the conversion.

Calendly and Cal.com bookings are invisible to your ad platforms. LeadJourney counts each one as a conversion and credits the click behind it.

As conversions

Same calendar, same campaigns, same spend. The difference is that every booking now carries the ad, post or referral that produced it, and the no-shows stop counting as results.

The problem

The booking happens where your ad platform stops watching

Calendly and Cal.com are where your conversion actually happens, and neither was built to know which ad caused it. The ad platform's tracking ends on your site, the scheduler starts fresh, and the connection between the two is nobody's job.

Why booked calls go unattributed

Two tools, and the journey breaks between them

  • The booking happens on the scheduler's page or embed, past the point where the ad platform's own tracking follows.
  • So ads report the click or the form fill as the conversion, and whether a call was actually booked never enters the data.
  • The scheduler knows the person's name and the ad platform knows the click, and no tool joins the two on its own.
  • Cancellations and no-shows look identical to calls that happen, so the numbers overstate what the ads produced.
  • Cost per booked call, the number the business actually runs on, is a spreadsheet stitched from the calendar and four ad managers.
  • Bidding optimises on clicks and form fills, so the algorithm buys traffic and not the booked calls the business needs.

The same funnel with LeadJourney

The booking becomes the conversion it really is

  • Native Calendly and Cal.com integrations capture every booking as a conversion, no developer wiring required.
  • Each booking is matched to the ad click, post or referral that produced it, because the journey was tracked before the booking existed.
  • Cancellations, reschedules and no-shows are tracked as the events they are, so a cancelled call stops counting as a win.
  • Cost per booked call is live per campaign and ad, joined to spend pulled from the ad platforms automatically.
  • Booked calls and won deals go back to the ad platforms as offline conversions with value, so bidding learns to buy bookings.
  • Underneath it, every touchpoint is tracked server-side at 95%+ accuracy, past ad blockers and iOS.

The fix

The calendar priced in our dashboard, the booking counted in your ad account

Two places, one funnel. You see what a booked call costs per campaign in LeadJourney, and the platforms receive the booking as the conversion, so their bidding starts filling the calendar instead of the top of the funnel.

See what fills the calendar

The dashboard the business runs on

  • Calendly and Cal.com connect natively: bookings, cancellations, reschedules and no-shows arrive as events.
  • Every booking sits inside the lead's journey, from the first ad click to the deal after the call.
  • Cost per booked call per campaign, ad and landing page, next to the spend that bought it.
  • Filter any campaign to the people who actually booked, showed up and became customers.

Send the booking back as the conversion

Where the signal changes the bidding

  • Booking events go back to Meta, Google, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads as the conversions they really are.
  • Won deals follow with value and currency attached, so value based bidding optimises on revenue.
  • Your CRM stays in the loop: the booked lead and its journey land on the record sales already opens.
  • You map which events count as conversions. A no-show never has to count as a win again.

What changes

The questions you can answer once the booking is the conversion

Every one of these is a report in LeadJourney, not a calendar export next to four ad managers. The scheduler keeps doing its job; the bookings just stop being invisible.

  • Which campaigns fill the calendar, and which only fill the top of the funnel?

  • What does a booked call cost per campaign, ad and landing page?

  • Which ads produce the bookings that show up, not the ones that cancel?

  • How many booked calls did last month's spend actually buy per platform?

  • Which channels send the bookings that turn into won deals?

  • What happens to cost per booked call once bidding optimises on bookings?

FAQ

What calendar-driven businesses ask first

If yours is not here, our team answers in the chat within a few minutes.

Does LeadJourney integrate with Calendly?

Yes, natively. Bookings, cancellations and no-shows are captured as conversion events and matched to the ad click, post or referral that produced them, so every entry in the calendar carries its source.

Does LeadJourney integrate with Cal.com?

Yes, natively as well. Cal.com bookings, reschedules, payments and no-shows come through as events, so a rescheduled call or a paid booking is tracked as exactly that.

How is a booking matched to the ad that produced it?

The journey is tracked server-side from the first anonymous click, so by the time someone books, LeadJourney already holds the path that led there. The booking event is stitched to that journey, which is how a call booked today is credited to the ad clicked last week.

Can the ad platforms optimise on booked calls instead of form fills?

Yes, that is the point. Booking events and the won deals after them go back to Meta, Google, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads as offline conversions with value attached, so bidding learns which clicks become calls and buys more of them.

What about no-shows and cancellations?

They are tracked as their own events rather than blended into the booking count. That means your reports separate calls that happened from calls that evaporated, and you can see which campaigns produce the bookings that actually show up.

The deal closes days or weeks after the call. Is it still attributed?

Yes. The journey has no attribution window, so the won deal is credited to the campaign that started it however long the gap between click, call and contract. The deal value flows back to the ad platforms when the CRM marks it won.

How long does setup take?

About 21 minutes: one script on the site, the scheduler connection, and OAuth sign-ins for the ad accounts. No developer is required, and our team will do the setup with you on a call if you prefer.
