The gap
Ticket Tailor knows exactly what every ticket was worth. It never learns which ad sold it.
The box office answers what sold. The click that produced the buyer happened days earlier on another site, and on another domain.
The Ticket Tailor box office on its own
Exact about the sale, blind to the click before it
- The box office reports orders, ticket types, discount codes, payouts and what each event took, to the cent.
- Your event page and checkout carry the tracking codes you added, so the ad platforms hear about a sale in the browser, when the pixel fires and consent allows it.
- A checkout hosted by Ticket Tailor sits on another domain, so the buyer crosses a border between the ad click and the payment and arrives as a new visitor.
- A discount code tells you a partner or a newsletter sent the buyer. It does not tell you which of your five campaigns did.
- Refunds and cancellations correct the payout. The ad account keeps counting the sale it reported weeks ago.
- Someone who bought for your last three events is three first-time buyers as far as the ad platforms are concerned.
- Spend lives in the ad accounts and revenue in Ticket Tailor, so ROAS per event is a spreadsheet somebody builds after the doors have closed.
Ticket Tailor with LeadJourney
One journey per order, from the first click to the person at the door
- Every order arrives as a conversion with its real amount and currency, matched server-side to the ad click, post or email that sold it.
- The order is stitched to the buyer's whole journey, so the reel, the organic search and the newsletter before it are on the record, not just the last click.
- The handover to the box office keeps the click ID, so the sale lands on the campaign that produced it instead of on Direct.
- Check-in is its own stage, so an event that sells well to people who never turn up stops looking like a success.
- A refund reverses the conversion, in your reports and in what the ad platforms were told, so ROAS is the money you kept.
- Paid orders go back to Meta, Google, TikTok and Microsoft as purchases with value and currency, so bidding buys buyers rather than clicks.
- Spend is pulled from every connected ad account, so cost per ticket and ROAS per event are live at 95%+ accuracy.
How it works
Ticket Tailor attribution for every order, then the revenue back where the budget is
Both run on their own once connected: the first turns an order into a conversion with a journey behind it, the second hands the amount to the platforms and takes it back when the ticket is refunded.
1 Every order becomes a conversion with its journey attached
Ticket Tailor sells the ticket. LeadJourney records which click sold it.
Visits and click IDs are tracked server-side across paid, organic and AI search, before anyone reaches the box office.

Orders, check-ins and refunds arrive from Ticket Tailor as they happen, each with its ticket types and its amount.
LeadJourney matches the order to the visitor's journey and stitches the sale to the ad, post or email that produced the buyer.
Cost per ticket and ROAS by channel, campaign, landing page and event, next to every other conversion you run.
2 From the paid order to the ad account that sold it
So the platforms bid on buyers, at what the buyers were actually worth.

The paid amount, the ticket types and any later refund are read as they are recorded in the box office.
The amount is placed on the order, and on the campaign, channel, landing page and event that produced it.
Purchases go back as offline conversions, matched on the click ID, with the real ticket revenue attached.
Bidding learns which audiences buy the expensive tickets, so the cost of a sold seat falls instead of the cost of a click.
The return path
Ticket revenue, back in the ad account that sold the ticket
A click is not a sale and a sale is not a kept sale. What goes back is the paid order, at its real amount, and the refund that reversed it.
MetaConversions API
Purchase with the ticket amount and currency, and the refund that reverses it
Google AdsOffline conversion import
Paid orders matched on gclid, with the amount for value based bidding
TikTok AdsEvents API
Server-side purchase events with the ticket revenue
Microsoft AdsOffline conversions
Conversions matched on msclkid, with the order value
LinkedIn AdsConversions API
Orders and revenue matched on li_fat_id, for conferences and trade events
You choose what counts as a conversion
Map the order, the check-in or both to any platform event, and decide which one the campaign is allowed to optimise on.
Value based bidding gets the real amount
A group booking and a single early bird are not worth the same, and the platform is told the difference instead of a flat value per sale.
Sent server to server
No pixel to fire on a checkout you do not own, and nothing for an ad blocker or a declined cookie banner to remove.
Reporting
The questions a box office cannot answer yet
Every one of these is a report in LeadJourney rather than an export. Ticket Tailor stays where you sell, scan and get paid, and LeadJourney shows what filling the room cost.
Which campaigns sell tickets, and which only sell clicks to the event page?
What does a sold ticket cost us on Meta compared with Google Ads and TikTok?
What is the ROAS of this event, live, while there are still tickets left?
Which event pages and posts sell the expensive tickets rather than the cheapest one?
How many of this month's buyers had found us through an organic search or an AI answer first?
Which channels bring buyers who turn up, and which fill the list with no-shows?

Keep Ticket Tailor. Give every ticket a source.
Ticket Tailor stays the box office that sells, scans and pays out. LeadJourney takes each order as the conversion it is, joins it to everything that happened before it, and hands the real revenue to the platforms where the budget is spent.

“Before LeadJourney, we had no reliable tracking concept for our five-figure ad spend. We were manually building spreadsheet and CRM reports, inaccurate and time-consuming. Within two days, everything was set up. For the first time, I know exactly what I pay per lead and which campaigns actually bring in the best-qualified prospects.”
Florian BuckCEO, Klickkraft GmbH “With LeadJourney we are able to track all our leads and connect them with sales and attribution data to make better decisions. In the first month of using it we scaled from 0 to 100k revenue from paid ads only.”

FAQ
What event organisers ask before connecting
If yours is not here, our team answers in the chat within a few minutes.
How is this different from Ticket Tailor attribution and the box office reports on their own?
The box office tells you what sold: which ticket types, at which price, with which discount code, and what the event took. LeadJourney starts from those orders and adds the half the box office cannot see, the journey before the buyer reached it, across every channel and device. The result is an order with a source and a campaign with a real ROAS, which the ad platforms otherwise never learn.
How does LeadJourney connect to Ticket Tailor?
You connect your Ticket Tailor account from the integrations screen in LeadJourney, without a developer. From then on every order, check-in and refund arrives in LeadJourney as a conversion. Your event pages, ticket types, discount codes and payouts stay exactly as they are.
My box office is hosted by Ticket Tailor. Does the match still work?
Yes. The click and the visit are tracked server-side on your own pages before the buyer reaches the box office, and the order coming back from Ticket Tailor is matched to that visitor's journey across the handover. If you embed the Ticket Tailor widget on your own site instead, the match happens on the same page.
Does a refund take the sale back?
Yes, and this is the number most organisers are short of. A refunded order reverses the conversion in your reports and in what was sent to the ad platforms, so a campaign that sells tickets people hand back stops looking profitable. ROAS becomes the money you kept.
Can I see which ads sell tickets to people who actually turn up?
Yes, where check-in is in use. Check-in lands as its own stage on the buyer, so you see cost per sold ticket and cost per person at the door side by side, and you can let the campaigns optimise on the second one.
We run several events a year. Does a repeat buyer count twice?
They count as one person with one journey and several orders. The channel that found them is credited for the first ticket, and you can see what the second and third were worth without counting the same buyer as three new ones.
Do I need a developer?
No. The tracking script is one line in your site or GTM container, connecting Ticket Tailor and your ad accounts is done from the integrations screen, and mapping ticket events to platform events is a settings screen. Most accounts are live in about 21 minutes, and our team will do the setup with you on a call if you prefer.
Is ticket attribution with LeadJourney GDPR compliant?
Yes. LeadJourney processes and stores data in the EU, signs a data processing agreement, and tracks first-party and server-side, so consent decisions are respected rather than worked around. What arrives from Ticket Tailor is the order and its amount, not your buyers' payment details, which stay with your payment provider.
What does it cost?
The Ticket Tailor integration is part of the platform rather than a paid add on. Plans are priced on tracked events instead of seats, so your whole team and your agency can share one workspace, and every plan starts with a 14 day free trial without a credit card.
