Every option, one table
A tick is included, a dash is limited, a cross is missing. LeadJourney's answer is the same on every plan.
| What you need | LeadJourney | ||
|---|---|---|---|
| Price per monthWhat you pay each month. Customer Insights is priced per tenant on a yearly contract, on top of the Dynamics 365 licences your team already has. | Partly: From $65 a month per user, yearly contract | No: $1,000 a month ($12,000 a year) with 10+ Dynamics users, else $1,700 | Yes: From $139 a month ($1,668 a year), monthly billing |
| User seatsHow many people on your team get their own login. Customer Insights includes unlimited users; the CRM seats underneath it are paid per user. | Partly: Every user paid, from $65 | Yes: Unlimited marketing users, CRM seats paid | Yes: 2 to 10 included by plan, extra $19/mo each |
| Lead source attributionWhich campaign or channel brought in each new lead, filled in automatically rather than picked from a list by a seller. | Partly: Lead Source choice, set by hand; all digital is Web | Partly: UTMs into hidden form fields | Yes: Every plan, automatically |
| Revenue attribution (closed as won)Which campaign, ad or keyword produced the opportunities you actually won, and how much revenue each one brought in. | Partly: Campaign responses, created by hand | Partly: Journey goals, no ad-to-opportunity credit | Yes: Every plan, every channel |
| Multi-touch attribution modelsSplits the credit for an opportunity across every touchpoint that led to it (first click, last click, linear, position based, time decay and more) instead of giving all of it to one. | No: None built in | No: None built in; build it in Fabric or Power BI | Yes: Every model on every plan, custom models too |
| Customer journey reportsEvery step one buyer took before buying, from the first ad click through visits and forms to the won opportunity, on one timeline. | No: Activity timeline, no web visits | Partly: Email, text and form interactions | Yes: Every lead, first click to closed as won |
| First-party, server-side trackingTracking that runs on your own domain and is processed on a server, instead of a script in the visitor's browser. Ad blockers and browsers let far more of it through. | No: No website tracking | No: Browser cookie, written at form submit | Yes: On your own domain |
| Visits ad blockers and Safari hideAd blockers and Safari block or shorten browser tracking. A blocked visit never appears in the report, so the ad behind it gets no credit for the opportunity. | No: Not tracked at all | No: Lost | Yes: Recorded, 95%+ captured |
| Click IDs capturedThe code an ad platform adds to the link when someone clicks an ad: gclid for Google, fbclid for Meta, msclkid for Microsoft Ads. It ties a lead to the exact ad and lets you report the sale back. | No: A custom column you build | No: Only through hidden fields you map | Yes: Every platform's, msclkid included |
| Ad platforms and spendThe ad networks whose spend and campaigns appear next to your leads and opportunities, without typing costs in by hand. | No: No ad data; cost typed per campaign | No: No ad spend enters the product | Yes: 8 networks, spend imported |
| Organic channels with their revenueTraffic you do not pay for per click, such as Google search, LinkedIn posts, YouTube or AI assistants, each shown as a channel of its own with the revenue it produced. | No: Only if entered as campaigns | Partly: Your own emails and texts only | Yes: Each channel on its own |
| ROI per campaignWhat a campaign returned for every dollar spent, worked out from the real spend and the real opportunity amounts. | Partly: Typed cost against typed responses | No: No spend to divide by | Yes: Measured on real opportunities and real spend |
| Call trackingA tracking number per campaign, or per website visitor, so you know which ad, keyword or page made the phone ring. Without it a phone lead has no source. | No: No tracking numbers | No: No tracking numbers | Yes: Per campaign and per visitor (add-on) |
| Conversions sent back to the adsTelling Microsoft, Google, Meta and the others which clicks became customers and what they were worth, so their algorithms find more buyers like them. | No: Microsoft Ads by file upload, msclkid you store | No: No native path to the ad platforms | Yes: Every stage, each opportunity's real value |
| Audience syncYour CRM segments (leads, qualified leads, open opportunities, customers) sent to the ad platforms as audiences, for retargeting or to stop paying for people who already bought. | No: Needs Customer Insights | Yes: Segments to Google, Meta, Snapchat, LinkedIn (preview) | Yes: Pipeline stages, daily, 4 platforms |
| Chat with your marketing data (MCP)Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot and ask questions in plain language. Microsoft's Dataverse MCP server reads and writes your tables; LeadJourney's answers on ad spend, attribution and customer journeys. | Partly: Dataverse MCP server, CRM tables | Partly: Dataverse MCP server, CRM tables | Yes: Spend, attribution and journeys; from Growth, else $55/mo |
| Data warehouse and BIYour attribution data in your own data warehouse or BI tool, so Power BI, Looker Studio or Tableau can report on it next to everything else the business tracks. | Yes: Power BI and Link to Fabric | Yes: Power BI and Link to Fabric | Yes: BigQuery export from Scale, plus API and MCP |
Microsoft as listed on microsoft.com/dynamics-365 pricing pages and Microsoft Learn, US dollars, read October 2026. Customer Insights covers Journeys and Data under one licence; the $1,000 Attach price needs at least 10 users of a qualifying Dynamics 365 app, otherwise it is $1,700 a month. Both include 10,000 Interacted People, more are sold in packs.

Why teams add it
Three arguments come up on almost every call with a Dynamics team. Each one is a set of concrete capabilities.
Closed revenue from your CRM matched to the campaign, ad and keyword that created it, so return on ad spend is measured on deals, not on lead counts.
First click, last click, linear, position based and the rest on every plan, switchable without re-tracking anything; custom models on Enterprise.
Every touchpoint from the first click to the closed deal on one timeline, with the CRM stage on it, for any single lead your sales team asks about.
Attribution written back into the CRM, so every lead carries its real source, campaign and keyword where sales works.
See which channels bring leads that qualify and close, not just the ones that fill the form.
Conversions are recorded on your own domain and sent server to server, so ad blockers, iOS and declined consent lose far less of them. 95%+ of conversions captured.
Google, Bing, YouTube, LinkedIn, email, referrals and the AI engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Perplexity, Grok and DeepSeek) attributed next to your ads at no extra cost.
Every conversion type a lead gen business has, tracked out of the box, with the CRM stage as the signal that matters rather than a checkout event.
Static numbers per campaign or dynamic number insertion per visitor, on every plan, from €50 a month with five numbers and 250 minutes included, and CallRail or Podium if you already run one. Every call lands on the click that made the phone ring.
From signup to live tracking in under 21 minutes, self-serve; an onboarding call with a tracking expert from Starter, and 14 days of setup support.
Real conversions and revenue go back to Meta, Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Reddit, X, Taboola and Outbrain Ads server-side, so their algorithms optimise on deals that actually closed.
Calls, meetings and signed contracts connected back to the exact ad that generated them, and sent to the ad platforms as the conversion they should optimise on.
Audiences built from leads, qualified leads or customers, synced daily to Meta, Google, LinkedIn and Microsoft, for retargeting, lookalikes and excluding the people who already bought.
Atlas reads your campaign, lead and CRM data and answers questions in plain language; Atlas agents watch the data and send daily or weekly reports to email, Slack or WhatsApp.
Ask Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor about your own data over MCP, pull it through the API or move it with the Zapier app. From Scale, the export streams clicks, conversions and leads straight into your own BigQuery dataset.

Switching
Nothing to migrate and no licence to buy. Add the script, connect Dynamics and your ad accounts, and the source lands on every new Lead and Opportunity.
Paste one snippet into your site or your GTM container, alongside whatever already runs on your site. It starts recording sessions, click IDs and form fills immediately, and nothing about your current setup changes.
Connect Meta, Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Reddit, X, Taboola and Outbrain Ads (a sign-in for most, API credentials for Taboola and Outbrain), then connect the CRM where your deals live. Historic campaign data and spend are imported for you.
Choose which lead statuses and business process flow stages count as a qualified lead and which as revenue. From then on every stage change goes back to the ad platforms with the opportunity's own amount, and the source is written onto the record in Dataverse.
Original reviews
4.9 out of 5 across 11 public reviews. Quoted as they were left, shortened only by dropping whole sentences.
“Before LeadJourney, we had no reliable tracking concept for our five-figure ad spend. We were manually building spreadsheet and CRM reports, inaccurate and time-consuming. Within two days, everything was set up. For the first time, I know exactly what I pay per lead and which campaigns actually bring in the best-qualified prospects.”
Florian BuckCEO, Klickkraft GmbH“With LeadJourney we are able to track all our leads and connect them with sales and attribution data to make better decisions. In the first month of using it we scaled from 0 to 100k revenue from paid ads only.”
“LeadJourney finally fixed my Marketing Analytics. It goes way beyond basic Ad Tracking Software. The Customer Journey Report saves hours of digging, and capturing everything from Offline Conversions to AI Search Tracking makes it the Best B2B Attribution Platform available.”
“Connected LeadJourney for 2 clients, setup took literally 20 minutes each. The data became more accurate, the reports actually make sense. Now clients look at the dashboard and the 'why don't the numbers match?' questions are gone.”
Alexander SamarPerformance Marketing Agency“With LeadJourney, we have finally found a tool that provides us with the data we need to scale our performance marketing campaigns. The most important KPI is no longer lead price but cost per qualified lead.”
Steffen SiesingCEO, Bilanzmanufaktur GmbH“The ability to track both online and offline conversions in one unified dashboard has given us insights we never had before. Our ROI has improved dramatically since we started integrating LeadJourney with our CRM. We're finally able to see the full customer journey, and it's been a game changer for our strategy.”
Andre WitzelFounder, Trading.de“The ability to seamlessly integrate data from multiple channels and see real-time insights has significantly improved our campaign results. We now focus on metrics that truly matter, like ROI and qualified leads.”

FAQ
The questions Dynamics teams ask on our calls, answered the way we answer them there.
No. Dynamics 365 stays your CRM. LeadJourney runs underneath it: it tracks the website server-side, joins every visit to the Lead and the Opportunity, and writes the real source, campaign and keyword onto the Dataverse record your team already works in. Lead Source stays exactly as your views and rules expect it.
Not as a model. Dynamics 365 Sales has a Lead Source choice column that a person or a rule sets, campaigns whose cost is typed in, and campaign responses created by hand or from an activity. Customer Insights - Journeys measures delivery, engagement and journey goals for the emails, texts and forms it sends. Distributing credit for a won opportunity across ad clicks, organic visits and AI answers is not a built-in view in either; teams build it in Power BI or Microsoft Fabric, on data that has to contain the clicks first.
Customer Insights, which covers Journeys and Data, is $1,700 per tenant a month on a yearly contract, or $1,000 as Customer Insights Attach when you have at least 10 users of a qualifying Dynamics 365 app. Both include 10,000 Interacted People; more are sold in packs. That is on top of your Dynamics 365 Sales licences, from $65 per user a month.
No. Dynamics 365 Sales records no web visits at all. Customer Insights - Journeys tracks in the visitor's browser and writes its cookie when a form is submitted, so the journey starts at the form rather than at the ad click. LeadJourney runs first-party on your own domain, processes every visit server-side from the first one, and stitches the anonymous first click to the Lead when the form is sent.
Not natively. Microsoft Advertising takes offline conversions matched on msclkid, which you have to capture on the landing page, store on the record and upload inside 90 days. Customer Insights - Data can export segments as audiences to Google Ads, Meta, Snapchat and LinkedIn, which is targeting rather than conversions. LeadJourney sends any lead status or business process flow stage to Meta, Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Reddit, X, Taboola and Outbrain Ads with the opportunity's own amount.
You can, and LeadJourney does not stop you: the attribution data is available in Power BI next to your Dataverse tables. What Power BI cannot do is record the clicks Dynamics never saw. A model built on Lead Source and form submissions only distributes the touches that reached Dynamics; the ad click, the organic visit and the AI answer before the form are not in the data to begin with.
Microsoft sells Customer Insights per tenant on a yearly contract, $1,000 to $1,700 a month, on top of the Dynamics 365 licences. LeadJourney starts at $139 (€129) a month, billed monthly, priced by ad spend, with revenue attribution and every model on every plan, after a 14-day free trial.
About 21 minutes and no partner. Paste one script into your site or Google Tag Manager, connect Dynamics 365 and your ad accounts, and map which lead statuses and stages count as a qualified lead and as revenue. Dynamics keeps running exactly as before.
