LeadJourney vs DashThis

A dashboard and the attribution under it are different layers

DashThis presents data that other tools produced; LeadJourney creates, attributes and explains it. The rows are the features our pricing page lists, so the table shows where the reporting layer stops and the attribution layer starts.

DashThis compared with LeadJourney, row by row
Built forDashThisMarketing teams and agencies that want a consolidated client report without a data team, usually one dashboard per client.LeadJourneyLead generation first, B2B and B2C: forms, calls, CRM stages and closed deals are the conversion model, plus e-commerce through the Shopify integration or a manually connected shop, for the agencies that run it and the clients they run it for.
Collects dataDashThisNo. It connects to sources that already have the data; a source is one connected account, counted per plan.LeadJourneyYes. First-party tracking on the client's domain, server-side, 95%+ of conversions captured, plus static and dynamic call tracking numbers as an add-on.
SourcesDashThis30+ integrations, all of them on every plan; HubSpot as a CRM source, CallRail for calls, Google Sheets and a CSV file manager for anything else.LeadJourneyMeta, Google, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads, the organic and AI sources, HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Close, Attio, GoHighLevel, ActiveCampaign and Odoo, calls through the call tracking add-on or CallRail and Podium, and custom channels by webhook. Attribution modelsDashThisNot on the pricing page. The published features are calculated widgets, data blending across integrations and mark-up on the numbers each source reports with its own model.LeadJourneyEvery rule-based model on every plan, on the click stream and the CRM, switchable without re-tracking; custom models on Enterprise.
CRM and pipelineDashThisHubSpot connects as a source, so CRM figures can sit in the dashboard next to the ad figures; joining a deal to the click is not a published feature.LeadJourneyStages, deal values and closed revenue joined to the journey per lead, with attribution written back into the client's CRM.

Organic and AI search sourcesDashThisAs GA4 and Search Console classify them; ChatGPT appears in the catalogue as an ad source (ChatGPT Ads, new), not as a search source.LeadJourneyGoogle, Bing, YouTube, LinkedIn and the AI engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Perplexity, Grok and DeepSeek) as distinct sources of visits and leads, out of the box.

PricingDashThisPublic: four tiers by dashboards and sources, Individual $44, Professional $139, Business $279 and Standard $429 a month paid yearly ($54 to $499 monthly), in US dollars; AI Insights Pro as an add-on.LeadJourneyPublic agency tiers by managed spend and tracked leads: from €399 a month with five client workspaces, up to forty on Enterprise and €19 for each further one, monthly or yearly, after a 14-day free trial.

Credit where it is due

DashThis is the fastest way from a connected account to a branded client report: pick a template, drop in the sources, schedule the email, white label on every plan. An agency whose clients read a monthly report on sessions and rankings should keep it. The table is about the accounts where the client asks what the ad budget returned.

What the axis means for an agency

Dashboards and sources price the report; managed spend and tracked leads price the accounts. Twelve clients sit on DashThis's Business plan at $279 a month, and every number in it is what the platforms reported. The same twelve on LeadJourney's €999 Growth plan get a report that says which campaign produced the deal.

Why agencies switch

Why agencies put LeadJourney under the client dashboard

Three arguments come up in almost every evaluation. Each one is a set of concrete capabilities, not a slogan.

Built for the agency, around the lead and the order

  • Client workspaces for agencies

A workspace per client with its own tracking, reports and unlimited client seats, a cross-client overview on top, built for agencies that run lead generation for others.

  • Scheduled reports

Reports that arrive by email on the rhythm you choose, per client for agencies, without anyone exporting a CSV.

  • Forms, calls and CRM stages as conversions

Every conversion type a lead gen business has, tracked out of the box, with the CRM stage as the signal that matters rather than a checkout event.

  • CRM revenue attribution

Closed revenue from your CRM matched to the campaign, ad and keyword that created it, so return on ad spend is measured on deals, not on lead counts.

  • The full journey of every lead

Every touchpoint from the first click to the closed deal on one timeline, with the CRM stage on it, for any single lead your sales team asks about.

The numbers are tracked, not copied from the platforms

  • Server-side tracking, 95%+ accuracy

Conversions are recorded on your own domain and sent server to server, so ad blockers, iOS and declined consent lose far less of them. 95%+ of conversions captured.

  • Conversions API sync on every plan

Real conversions and revenue go back to Meta, Google, LinkedIn and Microsoft server-side, so their algorithms optimise on deals that actually closed.

  • Multi-touch attribution, every model

First click, last click, linear, position based and the rest on every plan, switchable without re-tracking anything; custom models on Enterprise.

  • Organic and AI search as sources of their own

Google, Bing, YouTube, LinkedIn, email, referrals and the AI engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Perplexity, Grok and DeepSeek) attributed next to your ads at no extra cost.

  • Call tracking as an add-on

Static numbers per campaign or dynamic number insertion per visitor, on every plan, billed per number plus usage, and CallRail or Podium if you already run one. Every call lands on the click that made the phone ring.

Answers the client can act on, from day one

  • Ask Atlas, the AI marketing analyst

Atlas reads your campaign, lead and CRM data and answers questions in plain language; Atlas agents watch the data and send daily or weekly reports to email, Slack or WhatsApp.

  • Reports ready on day one

Channel, campaign, landing page and conversion path reports, plus the lead overview, built in and filled the moment data arrives.

  • Custom report builder

Build any report from raw data, pick the metrics, dimensions and layout, then save it as a live dashboard. No SQL required.

  • 21 minute setup

From signup to live tracking in under 21 minutes, self-serve; an onboarding call with a tracking expert from Starter, and 14 days of setup support.

  • 14-day free trial

Every plan starts with a 14-day trial, no credit card, so the numbers can be checked against your current tool before anyone signs anything.

Switching

From DashThis to LeadJourney in 21 minutes

Nothing to export by hand. Add the script, connect the accounts, and run both tools for a week or two until the numbers agree.

  1. 1About 5 minutes

    Add the LeadJourney script

Paste one snippet into your site or your GTM container, alongside the tags that feed your DashThis sources today. It starts recording sessions, click IDs and form fills immediately, and nothing about your current setup changes.

  2. 2About 10 minutes

Connect your ad accounts and CRM

Sign in to Meta, Google, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads over OAuth, then connect the CRM where your deals live. Historic campaign data and spend are imported for you.

  3. 3About 6 minutes

    Ask for your first number

The standard reports are there the moment data arrives: channels, campaigns, landing pages, conversion paths and the journey of every lead. For anything else, ask Atlas in plain language or build the report yourself from raw data, then save it as a dashboard.

  • 5 out of 5 starsGoogle

Before LeadJourney, we had no reliable tracking concept for our five-figure ad spend. We were manually building spreadsheet and CRM reports, inaccurate and time-consuming. Within two days, everything was set up. For the first time, I know exactly what I pay per lead and which campaigns actually bring in the best-qualified prospects.

With LeadJourney, we have finally found a tool that provides us with the data we need to scale our performance marketing campaigns. The most important KPI is no longer lead price but cost per qualified lead.

FAQ

DashThis vs LeadJourney, your questions answered

The questions agencies ask before choosing between a dashboard tool and an attribution platform, answered the way we answer them on calls.

What is the actual difference between DashThis and LeadJourney?

DashThis is a reporting layer: it connects 30+ integrations, drops what they report into a template, and sends the dashboard as a scheduled email or a PDF, white-labelled on every plan. It does not collect data itself. LeadJourney is an all-in-one attribution platform: it tracks on the client's domain server-side, syncs spend from the ad platforms, follows the lead through the CRM stages to the closed deal, tracks the shop order through the Shopify integration or a manually connected shop, records calls with static and dynamic numbers as an add-on, attributes that revenue with every model including AI search as a source, sends stage changes back to Meta, Google, LinkedIn and Microsoft, and reports on it per client workspace with Atlas. DashThis presents the numbers; LeadJourney produces them.

We already use DashThis. Can the two run side by side?

Yes, and for a mixed roster that is often the right answer: keep DashThis for the SEO and social accounts, where the report is the deliverable, and put LeadJourney under the accounts where the client asks what the ad budget returned: the lead gen clients, B2B and B2C, and the shops, which LeadJourney tracks through the Shopify integration or a manually connected shop for ROAS and customer origin. The join goes through a route DashThis documents: its Google Sheets integration and CSV file manager read what LeadJourney's Zapier app, API or a webhook writes, so attributed leads and revenue can sit in a DashThis widget next to the platform metrics. There is no native DashThis connector for LeadJourney. What DashThis cannot do on its own is track the click on the client's domain, read the CRM stage and send the closed deal to the ad platforms.

How does the pricing compare?

Both publish their prices. DashThis has four tiers by dashboards and sources: Individual $44, Professional $139, Business $279 and Standard $429 a month paid yearly, $54 to $499 billed monthly, in US dollars. LeadJourney's agency plans follow the spend you manage and the leads and sales you track: €399 a month up to €50,000 of managed spend and 1,000 leads and sales, €999 up to €250,000 and 7,500, €1,999 up to €750,000 and 20,000, and from €2,999 above that, monthly or yearly, with five to forty client workspaces included and €19 for each further one, after a 14-day trial without a card.

DashThis is simple enough that our account managers built the reports themselves. Will LeadJourney need a developer?

No, and simplicity is the right reason to like DashThis. LeadJourney is one script on the client's site or GTM container, the ad accounts signed in over OAuth and the CRM connected, about 21 minutes per client workspace, and the channel, campaign, landing page and conversion path reports fill on their own. The views a client insists on are built once in the report builder, without SQL, and saved; scheduled client emails go out on every plan. Every agency plan includes an onboarding call with a tracking expert and 14 days of setup support.

DashThis connects HubSpot and CallRail. Does that not cover CRM and calls?

It puts their figures in the dashboard, which is useful, but the columns stay separate: HubSpot reports deals, CallRail reports calls, the ad platforms report clicks, and nothing joins a particular deal or call to the campaign that started it. LeadJourney records the click on the client's domain, matches the lead when the form is sent or the phone rings, follows it through the stages in HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or the other connected CRMs, and attributes the closed revenue to the campaign, ad and keyword with every model. Static numbers per campaign and dynamic number insertion per visitor are an add-on billed per number plus usage, and CallRail or Podium connects if the client already runs one.

Which clients should move to LeadJourney and which stay on DashThis?

Move the accounts where the client asks what the ad budget returned: lead generation, B2B and B2C, local services, anything sold by a form, a call or a booked meeting and closed in a CRM weeks later, and the shops, which LeadJourney tracks through the Shopify integration or a manually connected shop for ROAS and customer origin. For those, a dashboard on platform metrics cannot answer the question and LeadJourney's client workspace can. Keep DashThis for the SEO and social accounts that measure success in rankings and followers, and for the shop that wants product-level catalogue analytics in the monthly report, where its templates and its price are hard to beat. The trial runs alongside DashThis, so the split can be decided on the numbers before anything is switched off.
