Both track first-party and both attribute across several touches. The rows are the features our pricing page lists, with what Northbeam documents for each one next to them, so the table shows fit, not a winner per row.

Credit where it is due

Northbeam does things almost nobody else does: view-through attribution, incrementality testing and a media mix model in one product, on an identity graph built for seven and eight figure stores. A store at that scale should evaluate it seriously. The table is about breadth and price: most businesses do not need to spend $1,500 a month to learn which ad brought the customers.

Pricing

Both price lists are public. Here they are side by side.

Northbeam scales by pageviews and starts where many marketing budgets end. LeadJourney scales by marketing spend. Both ladders below are the published tiers.

What the axis means, on one example

Northbeam's entry tier costs more than LeadJourney's top advertiser plan. That is not a knock: an identity graph and an MMM cost money to run. A team spending €20,000 a month sits on LeadJourney's €499 Growth plan and stays there when the sales team has a good quarter.

Why teams switch

Why marketing teams choose LeadJourney over Northbeam

Three arguments come up in almost every evaluation. Each one is a set of concrete capabilities, not a slogan.

Built around the lead, with the store beside it

  • Forms, calls and CRM stages as conversions

Every conversion type a lead gen business has, tracked out of the box, with the CRM stage as the signal that matters rather than a checkout event.

  • CRM revenue attribution

Closed revenue from your CRM matched to the campaign, ad and keyword that created it, so return on ad spend is measured on deals, not on lead counts.

  • Offline conversion tracking

Calls, meetings and signed contracts connected back to the exact ad that generated them, and sent to the ad platforms as the conversion they should optimise on.

  • Lead quality by channel

See which channels bring leads that qualify and close, not just the ones that fill the form.

  • CRM enrichment

Attribution written back into the CRM, so every lead carries its real source, campaign and keyword where sales works.

Every channel that brings leads

  • Conversions API sync on every plan

Real conversions and revenue go back to Meta, Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Reddit and X Ads server-side, so their algorithms optimise on deals that actually closed.

  • Organic and AI search as sources of their own

Google, Bing, YouTube, LinkedIn, email, referrals and the AI engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Perplexity, Grok and DeepSeek) attributed next to your ads at no extra cost.

  • Custom traffic channels and costs

Track affiliates, podcasts, newsletters, PR and print as channels of their own, add their costs by hand, and your return covers everything you spend.

  • Multi-touch attribution, every model

First click, last click, linear, position based and the rest on every plan, switchable without re-tracking anything; custom models on Enterprise.

  • Audience Sync from your CRM

Audiences built from leads, qualified leads or customers, synced daily to Meta, Google, LinkedIn and Microsoft, for retargeting, lookalikes and excluding the people who already bought.

European, transparent, fast

  • Frankfurt EU hosting

Frankfurt, Germany, with full EU data residency. GDPR compliant by design, with no transfer mechanism to document.

  • GDPR-native architecture

First-party tracking on your own domain, hashed identifiers and no third-party cookies, with an Art. 28 DPA on request. Compliant by default, not by configuration.

  • Public pricing by spend

Public tiers from €129 per month, set by your marketing spend and visible before you talk to anyone, with a 14-day free trial and no credit card.

  • 21 minute setup

From signup to live tracking in under 21 minutes, self-serve; an onboarding call with a tracking expert from Starter, and 14 days of setup support.

  • Ask Atlas, the AI marketing analyst

Atlas reads your campaign, lead and CRM data and answers questions in plain language; Atlas agents watch the data and send daily or weekly reports to email, Slack or WhatsApp.

Switching

From Northbeam to LeadJourney in 21 minutes

Nothing to export by hand. Add the script, connect the accounts, and run both tools for a week or two until the numbers agree.

  1. 1About 5 minutes

    Add the LeadJourney script

Paste one snippet into your site or your GTM container, alongside the Northbeam pixel. It starts recording sessions, click IDs and form fills immediately, and nothing about your current setup changes.

  2. 2About 10 minutes

Connect your ad accounts and CRM

Sign in to Meta, Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Reddit and X Ads over OAuth, then connect the CRM where your deals live. Historic campaign data and spend are imported for you.

  3. 3About 6 minutes

Map your CRM stages to conversions

Choose which stages count as a qualified lead and which count as revenue. From then on every stage change flows back to the ad platforms, and you can switch Northbeam off once both tools agree.

“Before LeadJourney, we had no reliable tracking concept for our five-figure ad spend. We were manually building spreadsheet and CRM reports, inaccurate and time-consuming. Within two days, everything was set up. For the first time, I know exactly what I pay per lead and which campaigns actually bring in the best-qualified prospects.”

FAQ

Northbeam vs LeadJourney, your questions answered

The questions teams ask before deciding, answered the way we answer them on calls.

What is the actual difference between Northbeam and LeadJourney?

Depth against breadth. Northbeam is enterprise e-commerce attribution: identity graphs, ML-based multi-touch, view-through attribution, incrementality and MMM, on order data from the store. LeadJourney is the all-in-one attribution platform: lead generation first, B2B and B2C, with the form fill, the tracked call, the booking, the CRM stage and the closed deal attributed across every touch and sent back to the ad platforms; e-commerce through the Shopify integration or a manually connected shop, with ROAS and customer origin; organic and AI search as sources of their own; and Atlas as the analyst on top. LeadJourney also hosts in Frankfurt and prices by spend from €129.

Is Northbeam too expensive, or just built for someone else?

Built for someone else. Northbeam's Starter tier is $1,500 a month and Professional is $3,500, and for a store with real volume the identity graph and the MMM earn that back. Most businesses do not have the pageview volume that pricing assumes, and a business that sells by a form, a call or a CRM has no orders for the store-first model to work on. LeadJourney's advertiser plans start at €129 a month, by marketing spend, with the CRM integrations, offline conversions and Atlas included from the second plan up, and the store connected through Shopify or a manually connected shop.

Does LeadJourney do view-through attribution or MMM?

No. LeadJourney attributes on clicks and first-party identifiers with every rule-based multi-touch model, switchable without re-tracking, and custom models on Enterprise. It does not model view-through conversions, run incrementality tests or fit a media mix model. If those are requirements, Northbeam is the right tool; for most marketing teams the question is which ad brought the deal or the order, and a click-based multi-touch model on CRM revenue and store revenue answers it.

We are an EU company. Does it matter where Northbeam hosts?

For a procurement or data protection review it does. Northbeam is a US company and does not state an EU data region, which means data transfer mechanisms to document. LeadJourney hosts in Frankfurt with full EU data residency, tracks first-party on your own domain, provides an Art. 28 GDPR DPA on request, and the team and the documentation are German. For DACH and EU teams that removes a step from the evaluation.

Does LeadJourney work for a store, or for a business with both a store and a sales team?

Yes to both. Shopify connects as an integration, any other shop system connects manually, and Stripe joins as a payment source, so every order carries the campaign, ad and keyword that brought the customer and ROAS is measured on real revenue. A business that also sells through a sales team sees checkout revenue and CRM deals in the same journey. What stays with a dedicated store tool is product-level catalogue analytics: cohorts by SKU, inventory reports, view-through and MMM. A store that runs on those gets more of them from Northbeam.

Can we migrate from Northbeam to LeadJourney?

Yes. Setup takes about 21 minutes: add the script next to the Northbeam pixel, connect the ad accounts and the CRM, and map the stages that count as qualified and as revenue. Most teams run both for a week or two and compare the numbers before switching Northbeam off. Historic campaign data and spend are imported from your ad platforms during setup.
