The gap

WebinarGeek knows who signed up and who watched. It never learns which ad filled the seat or what the viewer was worth.

Webinar statistics answer how the webinar went. The click that filled the seat happened weeks earlier on another site, and the deal closes in your CRM.

WebinarGeek statistics on their own

Accurate about the webinar, blind to the click before it and the deal after it

  • WebinarGeek statistics show each webinar's signups, viewers, viewing time, interactions with polls and calls to action, and on demand views.
  • The signup page carries your tracking codes, so the ad platforms hear about a signup in the browser, when the pixel fires and consent allows it.
  • Where a viewer came from is the pixel's or the marketing automation tool's story. The statistics show how the webinar went, not which ad filled the seat.
  • A no-show and a viewer who watched to the end are two rows in the same statistics. The ad platform only ever heard "signed up".
  • Whether the viewer booked a call, bought through the call to action or closed a deal weeks later lives in your CRM or your checkout, not in the statistics.
  • On demand webinars keep collecting signups for months, long after the attribution windows the ad platforms apply have closed.
  • Spend lives in the ad accounts and viewing lives in WebinarGeek, so cost per attendee across Meta, LinkedIn and Google is a spreadsheet exercise.

WebinarGeek with LeadJourney

One journey per signup, from the first click to the closed deal

  • Every signup, attendance and no-show arrives as a conversion, matched server-side to the ad click, post or referral that filled the seat.
  • The signup is stitched to the visitor's full journey, so the LinkedIn ad, the organic search and the AI answer before it are on the record.
  • Attendance is its own stage. A viewer who watched is worth more than a signup who did not, and the ad platforms learn the difference.
  • The viewer is followed through your CRM to the won deal, and the deal value lands on the campaign that filled the seat.
  • An on demand signup months after the live webinar is credited to the click that started the journey, because the journey has no window.
  • Attendance and won deals go back to Meta, Google, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads as offline conversions with value, so bidding buys viewers who buy.
  • Spend is pulled from every connected ad account, so cost per signup, per attendee and per closed deal are live at 95%+ accuracy.

How it works

WebinarGeek attribution for every seat, then for every deal the webinar produced

Both run on their own once connected: the first turns a signup and an attendance into conversions with a journey behind them, the second gives the viewer a value and hands it to the ad platforms.

  1. 1

Every signup and attendance becomes a conversion with its journey attached

WebinarGeek fills the webinar. LeadJourney records which click filled each seat.

    Your website

Visits and click IDs are tracked server-side across paid, organic and AI search, before anyone reaches the signup page.

    WebinarGeek

Signups, attendance and no-shows arrive from WebinarGeek as they happen, each as its own stage on the lead.

LeadJourney matches the signup to the visitor's journey and stitches the seat to the ad click, post or referral that filled it.

Cost per signup and per attendee, by channel, campaign, landing page and webinar, next to every other conversion.

  2. 2

From the viewer to the closed deal, and back to the ad account

So the platforms optimise on viewers who buy, not on signups.

    HubSpotSalesforcePipedriveAttio

The viewer becomes a lead in your CRM, and LeadJourney reads stage changes, deal value and closed won as they happen.

The won amount is placed on the signup, and on the campaign, channel and webinar that produced it.

    MetaGoogle AdsLinkedIn AdsMicrosoft Ads

Attendance and won deals go back as offline conversions, matched on the click ID with the deal value attached.

Bidding learns which audiences produce viewers who buy, so show up rates rise and the price per qualified attendee falls.

The return path

Attendees and won deals, back in the ad account that filled the webinar

A signup is not a result. When it turns into a viewer, and when the deal is won, each outcome goes back to the platform that produced the click.

  • MetaConversions API

Signup, attendance and deal won, with value and currency

  • Google AdsOffline conversion import

Attendees and won deals matched on gclid, with deal value for value based bidding

  • LinkedIn AdsConversions API

Attendance and won revenue matched on li_fat_id

  • Microsoft AdsOffline conversions

Conversions matched on msclkid, with deal value

  • TikTok AdsEvents API

Server-side signup, attendance and revenue events

You choose what counts as a conversion

Map the signup, the attendance or the won deal to any platform event, or all three at their own stages.

Value based bidding gets a real value

The deal amount from your CRM travels with the event, so tROAS strategies optimise on revenue instead of a flat value per signup.

Reporting

The questions webinar statistics cannot answer yet

Every one of these is a report in LeadJourney rather than an export. WebinarGeek stays where you host and run the webinar, and LeadJourney shows what filling it produced.

  • Which campaigns fill seats with people who actually watch, not just sign up?

  • What does an attendee cost us on LinkedIn compared with Meta and Google Ads?

  • Which webinars produce signups who become customers, and which fill the seats with people who never buy?

  • How many of last month's signups had visited from an organic search or an AI answer first?

  • Which landing pages and posts send the signups who watch to the end?

  • How much revenue did webinars produce last quarter, by channel?

Before LeadJourney, we had no reliable tracking concept for our five-figure ad spend. We were manually building spreadsheet and CRM reports, inaccurate and time-consuming. Within two days, everything was set up. For the first time, I know exactly what I pay per lead and which campaigns actually bring in the best-qualified prospects.

FAQ

What webinar hosts ask before connecting

If yours is not here, our team answers in the chat within a few minutes.

How is this different from WebinarGeek attribution and statistics on their own?

WebinarGeek statistics tell you how the webinar went: who signed up, who watched, for how long and who clicked the call to action. LeadJourney starts from those events and adds the two halves the statistics do not cover: the journey before the signup page, across every channel and device, and the deal after the broadcast, read from your CRM. The result is a signup with a source and a viewer with a value, which the ad platforms otherwise never learn.

How does LeadJourney connect to WebinarGeek?

You connect your WebinarGeek account from the integrations screen in LeadJourney, without a developer. From then on every signup, attendance and no-show arrives in LeadJourney as a conversion. Your signup pages, reminder emails and on demand settings stay exactly as they are.

Which webinar events come through?

Signups, attendance and no-shows, each as its own stage on the lead. That means a signup who watched is a different conversion from one who did not, both in your reports and in what goes back to the ad platforms. The chat, the polls and the quiz answers from inside the webinar stay in WebinarGeek.

My signup page is hosted by WebinarGeek. Does the match still work?

Yes. The click and the visit are tracked server-side on your own pages before the visitor reaches the signup page, and the signup coming back from WebinarGeek is matched to that visitor's journey. If you embed WebinarGeek's signup form on your own site instead, the match happens on the same page.

Can I optimise ads on attendees instead of signups?

Yes, and this is where the integration pays for itself. Attendance goes back to the ad platforms as its own event, so you can run campaigns that optimise on it directly. Meta, Google and LinkedIn stop buying the audiences that sign up cheapest and start buying the ones that watch, so attendance rates rise and the price per attendee falls.

Someone signs up for the on demand version two months after the live webinar. Is the click still credited?

Yes. The journey has no window, so an on demand signup is credited to the click that started it, however long ago that was. The ad platforms apply their own attribution settings to the events they receive, so late signups mainly improve optimisation there. The report that matches the seat to the ad lives in LeadJourney.

The call to action leads to a payment or a sales call. Is that attributed too?

Yes. When the viewer pays through Stripe, books a call or becomes a deal in your CRM, that outcome lands on the same lead as the signup, and it goes back to the ad platforms with its value. The webinar, the campaign that filled it and the revenue it produced end up on one line.

Do I need a developer?

No. The tracking script is one line in your site or GTM container, connecting WebinarGeek and your CRM is done from the integrations screen, and mapping webinar stages to platform events is a settings screen. Most accounts are live in about 21 minutes, and our team will do the setup with you on a call if you prefer.

Is webinar attribution with LeadJourney GDPR compliant?

Yes, and both sides of the integration are European. WebinarGeek is Dutch, and LeadJourney processes and stores data in the EU, signs a data processing agreement, and tracks first-party and server-side, so consent decisions are respected rather than worked around. LeadJourney reads the signup and attendance data, not the chat, polls or quiz answers from inside the webinar, and those stay in WebinarGeek under your existing consent setup.

What does it cost?

The WebinarGeek integration is part of the platform rather than a paid add on. Plans are priced on tracked events instead of seats, so your whole team and your agency can share one workspace, and every plan starts with a 14 day free trial without a credit card.
